With regard to the situation that the respiratory disease of growing and fattening pigs in Luxi pig farm is more serious than that of fattening pigs, a lot of drugs have been used to control it without good results, that is, as farmers say, "good money has been spent but no good has been done."

Since 2005, many piglets in pig farms have developed pneumonia, cough and cyanosis in individual pigs' ears. Growing pigs weighing more than 25 kg are mainly characterized by cough and wheezing as well as dermatitis. Compared with 2005, diarrhea is the main symptom, but now it is mainly respiratory symptoms and cough and fecal spray. In the hot climate of summer and autumn, pigs see many round erythema protruding on the surface of the skin, and the immunity of pig farms is relatively simple: sows are immunized with mycoplasma vaccine, swine fever vaccine, pseudorabies vaccine and so on; many are not immunized with PRRS and PCV vaccines. Pigs were immunized with swine fever, streptococci and other vaccines.

Observation from the delivery room, nursing house and fattening house showed that respiratory symptoms were the most obvious in growing pig houses, and pigs with cough symptoms were found in almost every column, showing no dry sputum cough and anal fecal spray, severe abdominal breathing, lying down, unwilling to move, tear spots in the eyes, purple ears, body temperature 39 ℃ ~ 40.5 ℃, little or no food, and dilute feces. Dissecting the pig whose ears are purple, we can see the whole lung bleeding, and there are fibrin exudates, which make the lungs adhere to the chest cavity. At the same time, there are cellulose exudates on the serosa surface, which make the intestines adhere and the lymph nodes are enlarged, but the bleeding is not obvious. According to clinical symptoms and anatomical observation, the diagnosis can be preliminarily diagnosed as respiratory syndrome (PRDC).

The above symptoms occurred in many pig farms last year, mainly asthma and infectious pleuropneumonia, as well as recessive infection of blue ear disease. Immunosuppression caused by mycotoxins is also one of the causes.

Precautionary measures

Strengthen feeding and management. Attach importance to isolation breeding, newly introduced breeding pigs are kept in isolation for more than 40 days.

If sick pigs are raised in isolation, those who should be eliminated should be eliminated in time.

Adhere to the all-in-all-out, delivery room, nursery should adopt the full-in-all-out mode of production.

Do a good job in sanitary disinfection. Clean and disinfect the empty pen thoroughly, leave it vacant for 7 days, and then transfer to the new pig herd.

It is strictly forbidden to foster the last batch of sick and weak children to the next batch.

Pay attention to the feeding density, the occurrence of respiratory diseases is closely related to the feeding density, such as the condition difference density should be lower.

Pay attention to ventilation and temperature control.

Reduce stress, try to reduce the number of turning and mixing of pigs; weaning pigs, do not change the circle, do not change feed; weaned pigs continue to be raised in the delivery room for 7 days and then transferred to the nursery; try not to be vaccinated on the day of weaning; each stage of feeding should be gradually transferred.

Immune inoculation

According to the actual situation of the local area and the epidemic situation, scientifically formulate the immunization procedure suitable for this field, and strictly abide by it.

Strategic phased drug prophylaxis.

Sow

Use drugs: Pig Jiansu or Zhu Chuankang. Usage: mixed feeding within 2 weeks after mating and 2 weeks before and after delivery for 1 ~ 2 weeks.

Boar, backup pig

Use drugs: Zhu Chuankang or Zhiyuanqing. Usage: once every 3 to 4 weeks, mixed feeding for 1 week.

Son pig

Use drugs: Chuanke dysentery, Yayuxiao, Baoyukang.

Usage: 1-day-old and 7-day-old after birth, nasal spray Chuanke dysentery or Yayuxiao once respectively, and mixed feeding of Baoyukang before and after weaning for 7 days.

Care of pigs, growing pigs

Use drugs: Zhu Chuankang or Zhiyuanqing. Usage: after changing the material in the two stages, mix the material with Zhu Chuankang or Zhiyuan Qing for 1 week respectively.

Fattening pig

Use drugs: Mei fat. Usage: mix the material for 40 days before leaving the fence.

Treatment measures

When treating, we should insist on the separation of therapeutic drugs and preventive drugs.

The recommended therapeutic drugs are: blue Ring Shuangbo, Fulaixin, Huaxi Chaoli, Yayuxiao and other injections. See the instructions for use.

Due to the complication of viral diseases such as blue ear disease in some pig farms, it is recommended that one of the above drugs be used properly with Xinbi.

In a farm with serious mycotoxins, the whole herd of pigs is mixed with mildew every other month for a week.

In addition, individual treatment should be combined with whole group administration; when respiratory disease occurs, pigs with severe symptoms should be treated individually by intramuscular injection or nasal spray, and the whole herd should be given mixed feeding or drinking water; after the symptoms disappear, one course of treatment should be continued to prevent recurrence. If the incidence of respiratory disease is high and serious, all pigs should be treated with pulse prevention or treatment at certain time intervals, such as medication for 1 week and stopping for 2 ~ 3 weeks, which can reduce the incidence and effectively control the disease.
