It is difficult to raise pigs in winter, but the benefit is good. How to best manage fattening pigs?
Winter is the critical period for pig fattening, because the price of pork is high, but the environmental conditions are the worst, the harm is the most, and the difficulties are the most. If the feeding management can not keep up, the pigs will lose weight instead of gaining weight. Therefore, in winter, great efforts should be made to improve the feeding environment of fattening pigs and raise them scientifically.
Fattening pig
Select crossbred pigs:
Good crossbred piglets were produced by binary or ternary hybridization between improved boars and local sows. The improved pig has the advantages of fast growth rate, good meat quality, 710 days earlier than the native pig, high feed return rate and considerable economic benefit. The selection of improved piglets is the key to raising fattening pigs. if the breed is not good, it will not only grow slowly, but also have poor meat quality and low feed utilization rate.
Enough living space:
The good growth of pigs should have enough living space, and the feeding density and enclosure space should be determined according to the individual and use of pigs. Feeding density should be appropriate, not too crowded, otherwise it is not conducive to pig growth, and too little and waste. Usually there are feeding area, rest area and living area in the enclosure. The area of the feeding area should meet the needs of all pigs feeding at the same time, and the space of the rest area should meet the needs of all pigs lying on their side at the same time.
The loops should be disinfected regularly:
Before fattening pigs enter the enclosure, pig sheds and utensils should be thoroughly cleaned, washed and disinfected. After wall painting, spray disinfection with 2% caustic soda solution to comprehensively kill pathogenic microorganisms and prevent pigs from being infected with epidemic disease. During the feeding period, the enclosure and its surrounding environment should be disinfected regularly, and disinfectants with broad spectrum, low price, easy to use, tasteless, non-irritating and corrosive should be selected. Disinfectants should be changed frequently in order to completely eliminate the pathogen.
Deworming pigs:
Pigs are most likely to be infected with parasitic diseases. Levamisole and ivermectin can be used for deworming and fed on an empty stomach in the morning. During the period of deworming, pig manure and its pollutants should be collected in time for accumulation and fermentation to prevent reinfection.
Feed nutrition should be comprehensive:
The weather is cold in winter. In order to improve the cold resistance and speed up the weight gain of fattening pigs, the dietary energy level can be gradually increased. Protein levels can be correspondingly increased to 17.5%, high in front and low in later. In addition, it is necessary to meet the actual needs of minerals and vitamins for finishing pigs. The straight-line fattening method was used to feed nutritious feed from weaning to fattening, so as to give full play to the growth potential of pigs and shorten the fattening time. In terms of management, darker light should be used to appropriately reduce the amount of pig exercise. Feeding should pay attention to methods, especially in the later fattening stage, multi-use unlimited feeding method, preferably a small number of times, to prevent feed waste, and at the same time conducive to fat deposition and weight gain. Pigs eat more and gain weight faster, which can shorten the fattening period. If it is found that the feed intake of fattening pigs is increased and the slaughtering rate is high, do not raise any more, but should be listed at the right time.
Provide adequate drinking water:
The amount of water consumed by pigs is less than that in summer because of the cold weather in winter, but it can not be ignored. Conditional farms, it is best to provide pigs with adequate warm water, can reduce the stimulation caused by cool water.
Grasp the heat preservation:
The cold winter in the north is long, which is disadvantageous to pig breeding, so it is very important to keep warm. The insulation ring should be maintained, the roof should be thickened, the north wall should be enclosed, doors and windows should be closed, grass curtains should be hung at night, and if conditions permit, an incubator should be set up to try to reduce the temperature difference between day and night, promote the rapid weight gain of pigs and improve the effect of raising fattening pigs in winter.

Raise an American cocker spaniel
In the diet of the American cocker spaniel, the supply of meat should be more than that of other breeds, generally 250-350 grams of meat per day, plus the same amount of dry material and biscuits, and an appropriate amount of water. In the management work, we should pay attention to its activity, this is because it is originally a kind of bird hound living in the wild. The owner of this dog had better take him out for a walk 2-3 times a day, usually take him out for a walk after getting up in the morning, and take him out for a walk in the evening or afternoon.
