III. Scope of adaptation
It is suitable for planting in mild disease areas of Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt in Jiangsu Province (excluding Xuzhou area).
IV. Yield level and characteristics
In the regional trials of Jiangsu Province in 2002 and 2004, the average seed cotton yield per mu was 274.8 kg, which was 15.7% higher than that of the control (Simian 3 in 2002 and Sumian 9 in 2004), and the lint yield was 108.8 kg per mu. 7.3% higher than the control In the provincial production test in 2005, the seed cotton yield per mu was 196.2 kg, 10.1% higher than that of the control Sumian 9, and the lint yield per mu was 79.7kg, 6.6% higher than that of the control.
The seedling emergence is good, the growth is steady, the plant is tower-shaped, tall, the stem is fluffy, the leaf is thicker, the leaf color is dark, and the bell is oval, large and smooth. The average results of the provincial regional test were as follows: growth period 142days, plant height 113.78 cm, fruit branches 17.42, bolls per plant 27.85, single boll seed cotton weight 5.99g, large sample lint percentage 39.57%, small sample lint percentage 40.37%, seed index 10.16g, pre-frost flowering rate 86.33%. The fiber quality was tested by the Cotton quality Supervision, Inspection and testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture (HVICC standard): fiber length 32.08mm, evenness 84.49%, specific strength 30.44cn / Tex, micronaire value 4.34, spinning evenness index 150. The identification results of disease nursery showed that Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt were 14.86 and 23.24 respectively. Resistant to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt and high resistance to cotton bollworm.
