IV. Yield level and characteristics
In the regional trials of Jiangsu Province in 2002 and 2004, the average seed cotton yield per mu was 266.6 kg, which was 12.4% higher than that of the control (Simian 3 in 2002 and Sumian 9 in 2004), and the lint yield was 105.5 kg per mu. 4.0% higher than the control In the provincial production test in 2005, the seed cotton yield per mu was 211.0 kg, 18.8% higher than that of the control Sumian 9, and the lint yield per mu was 83.3kg, 12.0% higher than that of the control.
The seedling emergence is better, the growth potential is stronger, the plant tower shape is more compact, the plant is high school, the stem has more hairs, the leaf is medium size, the leaf color is dark, the bell is oval, medium on the large side, spitting fluffy. The average results of the provincial regional test were as follows: growth period 140d, plant height 112.72 cm, fruit branches 17.69, bolls per plant 27.83, single boll seed cotton weight 5.74g, large sample lint percentage 39.51%, small sample lint percentage 40.12%, seed index 10.17g, pre-frost flowering rate 82.99%. The fiber quality was tested by the Cotton quality Supervision, Inspection and testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture (HVICC standard): fiber length 30.91mm, evenness 84.81%, specific strength 29.39N / Tex, micronaire value 4.44,spinning evenness index 145. The identification results of disease nursery showed that Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt were 10.43 and 19.03 respectively. Resistant to Fusarium wilt, resistant to Verticillium wilt, close to high resistance to cotton bollworm.
