Demian 800F1, a breeding unit, is a new hybrid cotton variety with high yield, high quality and multi-resistance developed exclusively by Denong Zhengcheng seed Industry Co., Ltd. It was approved by Anhui Province in 2005.
The whole growth period of this variety is about 134 days, which is a medium-ripe variety; plant tower type, strong growth, strong boll setting, big peach, thin boll shell, smooth boll opening, easy to pick, good cotton fiber quality, lint percentage 42.1%. High resistance to cotton bollworm and red bollworm; high resistance to Fusarium wilt, resistance to Verticillium wilt, three peaches knot, resistance to high temperature and drought, not premature senescence, strong stress resistance; pre-frost flowering rate 86.5%. High yield and good stability. Participated in the cotton variety regional test in Anhui Province from 2003 to 2004, the average seed cotton and lint yield increased by 20.35% and 20.1% respectively compared with the control Wanza 40F1, ranking first.
