Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Rose is a kind of plant that likes the sun very much. if there is not enough light, it is difficult to blossom. To make the rose blossom all the year round, we must grasp the following four keys. (1) Sunshine should be adequate: the place where rose is planted should not only be ventilated, but also be able to get sunshine for more than half a day, which is the first condition for it to blossom. (2) regular pruning: although the sunshine is good, if it is not pruned for a long time, the rose will not grow well. The method of pruning is to prune the rose leaves when they fall after December, and to trim them every time they bloom after May.

Rose is a kind of plant that likes the sun very much. if there is not enough light, it is difficult to blossom.

The method of pruning is to prune the rose leaves every year after December, and every time after May, trim off the 2max 3 or 1max 2 of the flowering branch, so that there will be more opportunities to regenerate flower buds. The wound caused by pruning is closed in time with healing anti-corrosion film to prevent the wound from drying and cracking and the harm of diseases and insect pests, and promote the rapid growth of callus.

(3) the times of fertilization should be more and timely: the general new species or transplanted potted rose can be cultivated with humus and loose loess. It is the peak growing season of rose after May. Topdressing should be applied once every 10 days, and fertilizer will be stopped in November. If you have a good grasp of fertilization, you can overcome its weakness of being afraid of high temperatures in summer.

(4) to prevent diseases and pests in time: in spring, the rose is prone to aphids, which can be sprayed with cigarette butts or diluted with trichlorfon; black spot and powdery mildew in summer are all caused by too humid and muggy heat, and some diseased leaves can be removed mildly. Serious cases can be sprayed with new high-fat film + Bordeaux solution or thiophanate or carbendazim for 2-3 times every 10 days or so.
