Third, the rooting activity and fertilizer absorption in autumn is earlier than that in spring, which is very beneficial to the first peak of branch and leaf growth and flowering, leaf expansion and fruit setting in spring, and can significantly improve the photosynthetic efficiency of early leaves. Fourth, the application of base fertilizer in autumn can supplement the nutrients of fruit trees in the critical period of nutrition in the coming year, avoid fertilizing too late in spring, resulting in excessive growth of autumn shoots, decrease of fruit rate, and possible freezing injury.
In order to improve the effect of applying base fertilizer to jujube trees in autumn, one is to deep ploughing the empty rows between the rows of fruit trees and fine soil preparation. Second, it is necessary to apply fertilizer deeply on the basis of finishing, with a depth of 40cm to 50cm.
