For the first time, two local three-year-old prickly ash trees were grafted with a total of 58 buds and 36 survived. For the second time, 2200 plants were grafted on local one-year-old seedlings of Zanthoxylum bungeanum and 2015 plants survived. The high grafting tree blossomed in the same year and bore a small amount of fruit. The grafted tree of one-year-old seedlings blossomed in 2005 and bore fruit in 2006. A large number of high grafted trees have borne fruit in 2006, and both the seedlings bred with introduced seeds and the grafted trees with one-year-old seedlings have borne fruit. 2. Grafting time and methods the grafting method taught by Japanese experts is split grafting, followed by binding with adhesive tape, resulting in a very low survival rate of less than 10%. Comrade he Changfu used skin bud grafting, insertion grafting, split grafting, wood bud grafting and other methods to carry out the experiment, and the survival rate of wood bud grafting was the highest, reaching more than 85%. The budding period is the best when grafting. The survival rate of grafting is also high in summer, but it is easy to freeze to death in winter. Grafting semi-finished products in autumn, after a winter after survival, the freezing death rate of semi-finished seedlings reached more than 70%, so it is not suitable to be used. 3. Comparison of phenological phase according to the observation in the past three years, compared with the local prickly ash, the germination and flowering period of unprickly ash is about one week earlier. In our place, the sprouting time of prickly ash is in the second half of March, and the flowering period is at the end of late April and the beginning of April. Prickly ash sprouts in the first ten days of April, around Qingming Festival; the florescence is in late April, before May and January. Fruit ripening time, non-prickly ash is mid-September, prickly ash is mid-late August. The maturity of prickly ash is about 25 days earlier than that of prickly ash. 4. Comparison of fruit character and yield unprickly prickly ash has a large fruit, so the Japanese call it "big prickly ash without thorns". The results showed that the 1000-grain weight of unprickly ash was lOOg, while that of prickly ash was 50g, which was exactly twice the difference. The thirteen taste of prickly ash without thorns is better than that of prickly ash. The spicy degree of the two is basically similar, but the aroma of prickly ash is strong. Under the same management conditions, compared with Zanthoxylum bungeanum in 2004, the yield of high grafted tree in 2004 was 1 times higher than that in 2006. The yield of prickly ash peel increased by 1.2 times. This is due to the large size and thick skin of prickly ash fruit. 5. The comparison of branches and leaves showed that compared with Zanthoxylum bungeanum prickly ash, the leaf color was lighter, the leaf vein was thicker, and the leaf was narrower: long and short internodes. The branches are thick and short, with the character of short branches of fruit trees. Seedlings have spines, but they are thinner and shorter than prickly ash. 6. Comparison of picking efficiency. According to the experiment, local prickly ash per person picks prickly ash fruit lOkg every day, and often stabs fingers, while non-prickly pepper per person picks prickly ash fruit 30kg every day, the work efficiency is increased by 2 times, and does not hurt fingers. 7. Summary Zanthoxylum bungeanum prickly ash has large fruit, thick skin, high yield, easy harvest, high harvesting efficiency, and no difference in adaptability to soil and climate, so it is worth popularizing.
