Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Direct seeding rice can be divided into dry direct seeding and water direct seeding according to the difference of soil moisture condition and sowing mode during soil preparation. Dry direct seeding can be divided into first stubble sowing and then shallow rotation, first rotary ploughing and then sowing and so on. The sowing procedure of water direct seeding is generally as follows: after applying basic fertilizer, water rotary ploughing, ditching, water leveling, and then sowing collapsed grain. Compared with dry direct seeding of rice, water direct seeding has the following advantages. First, there are many and even seedlings, which is conducive to the cultivation of strong seedlings. The surface of the water direct seeding field is flat, and there is mud on it, there are no seeds after the valley collapse, and the seedlings emerge quickly.

Compared with dry direct seeding of rice, water direct seeding has the following advantages. First, there are many and even seedlings, which is conducive to the cultivation of strong seedlings. Water direct seeding field border surface is flat, and there is mud on it, there are no seeds after grain collapse, seedling emergence is fast and neat, can win the whole seedling, seedling body strong. The dry direct seeding of rice has no water leveling process, and the border surface is often uneven, the sowing depth is different, and there are many exposed seeds, which is easy to cause uneven emergence and low emergence rate, and the seedling emergence rate is generally 10-15% lower than that of water direct seeding rice. Second, there is basically no rice, and there are few weeds. After the process of rotary ploughing, raking and leveling, the seeds of rice were turned into the soil, and the seeds were unable to get oxygen, suffocated in the soil, the occurrence was controlled, and the weeds in the field were significantly reduced. Third, the flatness of the field is good, which is beneficial to improve the chemical removal effect and facilitate the management of water slurry. In the dry direct seeding rice field, except for the fields with good flat foundation, the fields with poor flatness are often dry seeds in the high places and drowned seeds in the low places, which seriously affect the germination and emergence of rice, and the seedling rate decreases greatly. Chemical weeding requires to keep the soil moist, low-lying stagnant water and dew seeds are easy to cause drug damage, resulting in injury or death of seedlings, and the weeding effect is not good. The surface of the field is uneven, and it is difficult to guarantee the quality of shelving. Fourth, the foundation of seedling condition is good, and the yield level is high. The rice in direct seeding field has good seedling emergence, high seedling rate, more tillers and high panicle rate, and higher yield can be obtained on the basis of full panicle.
