Published: 2024-11-05 Author: mysheen
Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Drosophila melanogaster D.melanogaster belongs to Diptera, Drosophila. It is mainly distributed in the southern provinces of China, causing serious damage to edible fungi such as Ganoderma lucidum, fungus and Tremella fuciformis. The damage characteristics of Drosophila melanogaster larvae feed on Ganoderma lucidum hyphae and culture materials, resulting in water-wet rot, which can cause bacterial invasion. Adults can carry diseases and insect pests such as molds, nematodes, mites, etc. Aggravate the occurrence of insect pests and seriously affect the yield and quality of Ganoderma lucidum. The morphological characteristics of adults are relatively small, about 4.

Drosophila melanogaster D.melanogaster belongs to Diptera, Drosophila. It is mainly distributed in the southern provinces of China, causing serious damage to edible fungi such as Ganoderma lucidum, fungus and Tremella fuciformis.

Adults can carry diseases and insect pests such as molds, nematodes, mites, etc. Aggravate the occurrence of insect pests and seriously affect the yield and quality of Ganoderma lucidum.

Morphological characteristics

The adult body is small, about 4 mm long, yellowish brown, no black ring in the abdomen, red and white deformation in the compound eye, 3 in one eye, the hind wing degenerated into a balance rod, a pair of antennae in front of the back and awn-shaped antennae. The wings are transparent, there are 2 gaps in the front vein, and the abdomen is thick and short. The end of the abdomen of the female adult is thin, the color is lighter, and there are 7 black rings.

The egg is about 0.5 mm long, milky white, with a reticulate grid on the egg surface and 2 egg filaments in front of it.

The larva is small, 4.5-5.5 mm long, maggot-shaped, milky white. No chest foot and abdominal foot.

The pupa surrounds the pupa, white at the beginning, and then gradually yellowish brown.

Drosophila melanogaster likes to spawn and reproduce on rotten fruit and fermented material. It can reproduce many generations a year. The egg period is 57 days at 10 ℃, 18 days at 15 ℃ and 6-4 days at 20-25 ℃. The generation period is 12-15 days at 20-25 ℃. The suitable temperature for growth was 20-25 ℃, and the adult was sterile and died when 30 ℃.

Prevention and cure method

The main results are as follows: (1) strengthen the cultivation management, clean up the organic wastes in the cultivation place and around it, and install screen doors and windows in the cultivation room to reduce insect pests. The mushroom house should be regularly sprinkled with lime or insecticide.

(2) making use of the habit of Drosophila melanogaster, the mixture of wine, sugar, vinegar and water according to the proportion of 1, 2, 3 and 4 was used for trapping and killing, and a small amount of dichlorvos was added in a basin, and 1-2 pots were placed in every 2-4 ear frames to trap and kill adults.

(3) if symptoms are found, the damp culture material can be slightly sprinkled with trichlorfon or dichlorvos insecticide to kill the larvae or sprinkle some lime powder.

Trichlorfon and dichlorvos are commonly used.
