A new strain of Ganoderma lucidum-Satellite 2
"Satellite 2 Ganoderma lucidum" was sent into space by the "961020" recoverable satellite launched in China for 15 days, so that it was exposed to a large dose of ultraviolet radiation and weightlessness in the universe, resulting in gene mutation, and then after screening and cultivation experiments, a new strain of Ganoderma lucidum with high quality and high yield was selected.
Compared with the unloaded Ganoderma lucidum strain (control strain), the yield of fruiting body of "Satellite 2" can be increased by 75.3%, the rate of high quality products is 88.9%, the average fermentation rate is 2.57%, and the activity of cellulase is increased by 33%. Tested by the physical and Chemical testing Center of Shenyang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the total amount of amino acids of "Satellite 2" Ganoderma lucidum reached 10.315%, which was 96.4% higher than that of the control strain, of which 16 kinds of amino acids increased significantly, with a minimum increase of 47.48% and a maximum of 163.94%. This scientific research achievement has reached the leading level in China.
