Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Mucormucedo (L.) Brefeld, belonging to the subphylum Zygomycetes, Mucor order, Mucor. It can infect edible fungi such as Ganoderma lucidum, Tremella fuciformis, Pleurotus ostreatus and so on. In serious cases, it can lead to the scrapping of bacteria. Symptom Mucor can secrete organic acids and toxins and inhibit the growth of Ganoderma lucidum hyphae. After the injury of the culture medium, the mycelium is gray and stout, and the growth rate is fast. In the later stage, many small yellow-white round granules were produced at the top of the aerial hyphae, and then gradually turned black.

Mucormucedo (L.) Brefeld, belonging to the subphylum Zygomycetes, Mucor order, Mucor.

Mucor and Ganoderma lucidum hyphae compete for nutrients and water. Inhibit the growth of mycelium.

The pathogen Mucor belongs to the subphylum Zygomycetes. When growing on potato sucrose Agar medium, the aerial hyphae are grayish white to grayish black. When growing in the strain bottle or bag, the hyphae were white at the beginning, and then turned to grayish white or light yellow, sparse and stout. Sporangium stems grow from aerial hyphae, the peduncle is long and stout, unbranched, sporangia are spherical, endophytic spores are oval, colorless or yellowish brown, single-celled. A short stem can grow near the base of the sporangium, and a small sporangium can be formed at the tip. There are one or more spores in the microsporangium, the hyphae have no septum, and the posterior wall spores can be formed in the middle of the mature hyphae. Spherical zygotic spores can be formed during sexual reproduction.

Characteristics of the disease Mucor often lives on organic matter. Mature spores spread in the air and germinate hyphae on organic matter when temperature and humidity are suitable, especially in the environment of high temperature and humidity, they grow rapidly. In the process of strain growth, the disinfection and sterilization of culture materials and inoculation utensils are not complete, or the staff do not strictly comply with the requirements of aseptic operation, or the cotton plugs of strain bottles and bags can be contaminated by moisture. The cultivation room has been in a state of poor ventilation for a long time, and the incidence rate is high.

Prevention and cure method

The main results are as follows: (1) choose a suitable cultivation site and stay away from organic substances such as livestock dung.

(2) strengthen cultivation management, timely ventilation, maintain proper temperature and humidity in the cultivation room, keep the environment hygienic and clean, and destroy the living environment of bacteria.

(3) the fresh, dry and mildew-free raw material is selected as the culture material, and the proportion of wheat bran to rice bran is controlled within 10%.

(4) mix the material with 25% or 50% carbendazim or 0.2% methyl topiramate of 0.2% by weight of dry material.

Commonly used agents carbendazim, methyl topiramate.
