Brief introduction to the cultivation of Phalaenopsis
Phalaenopsis, Phalaenopsis, Orchidaceae, Phalaenopsis. It is native to tropical Asia and is distributed in Taiwan, Philippines, Java and other places. There are about 50 species, Phalaenopsis is a single-stem epiphytic orchid with short stems, large leaves, one to several flowering stems, arched and large flowers. The origin of Phalaenopsis is attached to high-temperature and humid rivers and trees near the coast, and is fond of high temperature (suitable temperature 15-30 ℃), humid, ventilated and cool growth environment. The seedlings can not be watered within 2-3 days after transplanting, and the adult plants should be transplanted one month after flowering or 2-3 months before the stem. Spring is the fastest growing period of Phalaenopsis, and it is also the root growth period. It should be kept moist and dry, and should be watered once a day. If you want to cultivate a strong orchid plant, you should let the orchid plant be blown by the appropriate wind. Greenhouse cultivation often leads to poor ventilation, so it is best to put it near a well-ventilated entrance and exit, or use a fan to circulate the air. Organic fertilizer, such as rotten bean cake water, can also be applied with compound fertilizer, or liquid fertilizer diluted 2,000 times every ten days. The sun is strong in summer, it needs to be shaded by 80-90%, and it can be watered once in the morning and evening, and leaf water can be sprinkled even during the day in severe dryness. Since the shading reaches 80-90%, it is more effective to water leaves at night. Fertilization is the same as in spring. If liquid fertilizer is used every 7-10 days, whether the growth between spring and summer is smooth will affect the growth and quantity of flowers, so fertilization between spring and summer is very important. In autumn, when the temperature drops below 20 ℃, the growth of new leaves will become late, and if stimulated by low temperature, the flower stem will grow out of the leaf stem. Due to the drop in air temperature, the drying of water is slow, it is best to wait for the surface of the planting material to dry before watering, and the flower stem does not need to be fertilized during the growing period. In winter, the flower stem continues to grow and enter the flowering period, when the temperature drops below 13 ℃, it should be moved into the greenhouse and keep ventilated, it is best to use fan flow air, winter watering should be completely dry, and should be carried out in the sunny morning, the night temperature is low, should avoid watering in the morning to stay in the leaf center overnight. Leave 3-4 nodes of the flowering stem at the end of the flowering period, and the rest will grow into lateral buds and blossom in summer.

Phalaenopsis changing pots
1. Selection of basin: generally choose plain fired pottery basin or plastic basin, porous basin is better, shallow basin is suitable for breathability, basin height is better than basin diameter. 2. Selection of culture medium: Phalaenopsis is a typical epiphytic orchid, its root system is well developed, and the cultivation substrate must have the characteristics of looseness, ventilation, good air permeability and rot resistance. According to the author's cultivation experience, pine needles, peanut shells and bark shreds should be selected as substrates for Phalaenopsis cultivation in the north. The basin must be changed every year. If the pot is not changed in time, the rot of the pot substrate will cause shrinkage and poor air permeability.

Cultivation techniques of Phalaenopsis
Phalaenopsis, also known as Phalaenopsis, graceful, gorgeous and delicate, flowering for a long time, is the best of orchids, known as the queen of orchids. With the improvement of people's living standards, Phalaenopsis has also entered the homes of ordinary people. However, because the cultivation conditions of Phalaenopsis are strict and the management measures are not easy to be mastered, the product quality of Phalaenopsis is poor and the market share is low. The basic cultivation techniques of Phalaenopsis are introduced as follows. 1. The biological characteristics of Phalaenopsis. Any of various epiphytic orchids of the genus Phalaenopsis in the orchid family, having short, fleshy flower stems covered by large areas.
