Variety source: selected from a bud mutation plant of Malaysia B17 introduced from Hawaii.
Characteristics: the branches are open, the tree is weak, the branchlets are numerous and dense, soft and droopy. The leaves are odd-pinnate and alternate; the number of leaflets is 7-13, mostly 11, alternate or opposite, 4 cm ~ 9 cm long and 2 cm ~ 5 cm wide; the leaflet body is asymmetric, one side is broad and obtuse, the other side is narrow and oblique. Flowers are racemes, axillary, 2-3 cm long, each inflorescence has more than ten to dozens of flowers. Flowers small, about 8 mm in length, crown about 4 mm in diameter, bell-shaped, petals 5, pale purplish red, fragrant; stamens 10, outer 5 short and underdeveloped, lack of anthers, 5 inside only pollen; 1 pistil, superior ovary, with 5 locules, with 1 seed per locule. Fruit for fleshy berries, long spindle-shaped, thin fruit, fruit tip protruding, generally 5-angled, cross-section is pentagonal. The pericarp is thin and smooth, the immature fruit is turquoise, yellow when ripe, the edge is turquoise and obvious. The average weight of single fruit is 180 grams, the soluble solids of pulp is 9.0%-14.5%, and the content of total organic acid is 0.18%-0.35%.
Planting in southern Guangxi has three or four times of flowering and fruiting every year: from mid-late May to early June, from mid-late August to early September, from mid-late July to mid-August, from mid-October to early November, from late October to mid-November, and from mid-January to late February the following year.
Yield performance: flowering and hanging fruit in the same year, it can be formally put into production in the second year, the yield per plant can reach 10 kg, the yield per plant in the third year can reach 25 kg, and the yield per plant can reach more than 36 kg in the fourth year.
