Jinxiang pear

A new variety bred by the Institute of Fruit trees, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The parents are Nanguo pear and Bali pear. There is a small amount of cultivation in the west of Liaoning. It is of excellent quality and can be made into cans, which is suitable for the development of urban suburbs.

The fruit yield is medium and large, with an average single fruit weight of 110.5 grams. The fruit is fusiform. The pericarp is green and yellow after ripening, and there is a dark red halo on the sunny side. Fruiting pedicel short, sepals persistent. The heart of the fruit is medium-large, the flesh is white, the flesh is soft, soluble in the mouth, a lot of juice, sweet and sour taste, strong fragrance. Contains 13.5% soluble solids. The quality is excellent.

The growth potential of the plant is medium, the tree is dwarf, the sprouting ability of the branch is strong, and the branch forming ability is medium. The young trees bear fruit with medium and long fruit branches, while the adult trees bear fruit with medium and short fruit branches, and the yield is medium. The vegetative growth period is 210 / 225 days. It matured in the west of Liaoning Province in mid-September. The variety is moderately cold-resistant and resistant to scab. Pollination varieties are Zaocu, Jinfeng and Yali pear.
