Interplanting technology of pepper and cotton

1. Stubble

Pepper seedlings were raised in greenhouse in the middle of November, transplanted to the field in late March and harvested in mid-April, while cotton seedlings were raised in nutrient bowl at the end of March and transplanted at the end of April.

2. Technical points

The main results are as follows: (1) the early-maturing and dwarfing varieties Xiangyan 6 and Champion were used in pepper, and Eza cotton was selected in cotton.

(2) generally, the width of the box is 1.6m, 2 rows of chili pepper are planted in the box, the plant spacing is 0.3m, the density is about 2780 plants per mu, and there is a row of cotton on both sides of the box. Cotton has a wide row of 0.9m, a narrow row of 0.7m, a plant spacing of 0.45m and a density of 1850 plants per mu.

3. Output

The average yield of lint is more than 80 kg per mu and that of pepper is more than 4000 kg.

4. Suitable area

This model is suitable for promotion in suburbs and cotton areas with convenient transportation.
