Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Garlic is widely used in rural areas of our country to braid or hang garlic in strings. (1) braided storage: the garlic was harvested and dried for 2 or 3 days, and then braided. Between summer and autumn, it should be palletized or suspended in a temporary Arbor, freezer or ventilated storage. it is best to move into the ventilated storage in winter to avoid moisture and cold. (2) string: string the false stem of garlic with galvanized wire or rope and hang it under the eaves before and after the house, or tie the garlic into a small handful every 8 to 10, and then string it neatly in rows.

(2) string hanging: the false stem of garlic is strung together with galvanized wire or rope and hung under the eaves before and after the house, or the garlic is tied into a small handful every 8 to 10, and then neatly hung on the wire or rope under the eaves, so that the garlic can dry naturally. No matter which storage method is used, the garlic after harvest should not be exposed to the sun, because once the garlic is exposed, the cloves are easy to shrink, the outer layer is sticky, and the smell of garlic is reduced, deteriorated, and not suitable for long-term storage.
