Lianmai No. 2 was selected by the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, and passed the national examination and approval number: 2005004 in 2005.
The variety belongs to the semi-winter multi-spike type mid-maturity line, the seedlings are semi-creeping, the leaves are slender and green. The plant height is about 80 cm, the stem is elastic and resistant to lodging.
