Pigs give birth in winter to keep warm
Sows give birth in winter, the survival of piglets is affected by the cold weather, especially in rural individual farmers, one has no birth bed, the other has no warm facilities, and the survival rate of sows is low in winter. For experienced sow farmers, building a small warm nest for newborn piglets is a good way to improve the survival rate of piglets and increase the efficiency of breeding.
Sows before giving birth on one side of the pigsty, it is best in the leeward to the sun, build a length, width of 1 meter, 50 cm high nest, and break through with the pigsty to leave a running pig mouth. Wrap the nest in plastic sheeting to make sure it is airtight. If the pigsty is deep, the method of digging a pit can be adopted to build a basement with a cover on it. The nest is first covered with dry furnace ash, and then covered with a layer of thatch to keep warm. A 40-watt light bulb is lit as a heat source (the temperature in the nest can reach about 30 ℃), so the piglet's warm nest is built.
When the sow begins to give birth, put the piglet into the small warm nest first, block the pig's mouth, feed regularly in the first 3 days, once every 4 hours, after the piglet is full, then circle into the small warm nest, remove the bezel after 3 days, let the piglet go in and out freely, feed naturally, and then go back to the small warm nest to sleep.
The warm little warm nest of piglets is not only beneficial to the growth and development of piglets, but also can avoid trampling injury and crushing to death of sows, which can effectively improve the survival rate of piglets and increase the income of piglets. Building a small warm nest for piglets is economical, practical, simple and easy to learn. Rural sow farmers might as well give it a try.

Skillfully treat "bad habits" of pigs
Circle: cut short the upper eyelashes of a swine and cut it when it grows. In this way, when the pig looks up and runs around, its eyes will be stimulated by wind, light and dust and will have a sense of fear. After several times, the pig will no longer run in the circle. Nibbling on the wall: pigs gnawing on the wall is often due to insufficient salt intake. in general, the salt content in the diet of 60-90kg fattening pigs should reach 0.25%, and the salt content in the diet of breeding boars should reach 0.35%. Bite fight: bite fight often occurs when pigs are raised in different pens. If you drive away the pigs in the original pen first,
