Last Updated: 2024/12/22, Spring tea is a season of tea with the highest output and the best quality in a year, with high price and good economic benefits. Practice has proved that doing a good job in the early management of spring tea plays an important role in increasing the output and improving the quality and benefit of spring tea. Therefore, it is very necessary to manage the tea garden before the Spring Festival in time. 1. Increase application and early topdressing. The time of applying budding fertilizer is generally 15-30 days before tea germination, that is, before the end of February, 25-30 kg of urea or 50-60 kg of ammonium bicarbonate or 50 kg of special compound fertilizer for tea trees are applied per mu.

Spring tea is a season of tea with the highest output and the best quality in a year, with high price and good economic benefits.

The ditch application method is used for fertilization, the depth of the ditch is 10-15 cm, and the soil is covered in time after application. For tea gardens where plants are too dense, throwing can be used if it cannot be ditched, but it must be carried out on cloudy days and before rain to avoid burning tea leaves and loss of fertilizer.

2. shallow ploughing and weeding. A shallow ploughing and weeding before tea garden mining is beneficial to loosen soil, increase soil temperature, remove weeds, reduce the consumption of water and nutrients, and promote the early germination of Spring Festival. Shallow tillage weeding should generally be carried out at the end of February or early March, with a depth of 5-10 cm. At the same time, combined with the clear garden, weeds and fallen leaves were turned into the soil to reduce the number of insect population.

3. Use light pruning skillfully. For the tea gardens where there is no frost damage in winter and spring and need to pick famous and high-quality tea, in order to pick more famous and high-quality tea early, there is generally no pruning before spring tea, but pruning should be postponed to the end of spring tea harvest as far as possible. For the tea garden to be pruned, it is best to finish from the end of February to before the sting, and the depth of light pruning generally cuts off the crown, branches and leaves 5-7 cm. For the frost-damaged tea garden, light pruning should be carried out in time, and the pruning depth should be light rather than heavy, early rather than late.

4. Timely prevention of "late spring cold". In the early spring season, we should always pay attention to the weather forecast of that day, and take measures to prevent "late spring cold" in advance: first, cover the tea garden, that is, before the cold spell comes, cover the covered surface and tea line ground with straw, weeds and sunshade net mulch, so as to promote the rise of the ground temperature of the tea garden and reduce the frost effect of the tea garden. The amount of grass paving is more than 1500 kilograms per mu, so it is appropriate not to expose the ground. The tea garden is covered with fluffy noodles, and then remove the cover in time after the cold wave. Second, smoke and anti-freezing, before the arrival of the night frost, in the sunny evening without rain, ignite the turf heap set on the edge of the introverted and well-situated tea garden, so that the smoke is filled with smoke and reduce radiation heat at night, so as to effectively prevent the harm of night frost to the tea garden. The third is to moisturize the soil, strengthen the management of fertilizer cultivation in the tea garden, apply sufficient basic fertilizer, increase the guest soil, thicken the living soil layer, and establish a shelterbelt at the windward mouth of the tea garden. For the early varieties of tea gardens that have germinated bud leaves, it is necessary to concentrate manpower on picking young bud leaves in order to reduce the loss of freezing injury.

5. Spraying foliar fertilizer. In order to promote the early, multiple and strong development of spring tea, foliar fertilizer can be sprayed before tea trees germinate in spring. Generally, 0.5-1% urea, 0.2-0.3% potassium dihydrogen carbonate and multifunctional nutrient solution can be sprayed 2-3 times before and after spraying, each time at an interval of 5-7 days. In addition, you can spray tea trees "a spray early" 20-25 grams, 45-50 kilograms of water, must be fully dissolved before spraying. All foliar fertilizers should not be sprayed before and after rain and at noon when the temperature is high.

6. Clear ditches and drain water. Rain Water gradually increased in spring, if the tea garden drainage is not smooth, too much water, the garden is too wet, it is not conducive to the growth of tea trees, affect the germination of spring tea, and even lead to a reduction in production. Therefore, no matter flat or sloping tea gardens, we should timely open ditches and drainage before the coming of spring, clear and dredge the drainage ditches, and ensure that the groundwater level is below 1 meter, so as to avoid waterlogging rot of tea roots and promote the normal growth and development of tea roots.

7. Spray stone-sulfur mixture. After closing the garden in late autumn and early winter or before tea tree germination, remove dead branches, fallen leaves and weeds out of the garden and spray Baume 0.3-0.5 degree stone sulfur mixture 1-2 times in time to enhance the cold resistance of tea trees and kill overwintering bacteria and eggs at the same time.

8. Watering sprouting water. Before spring tea germination, if the weather is dry and there is little rain, watering the tea garden can effectively promote the germination of tea buds. Tea garden irrigation sprouting water is generally combined with topdressing. Tea farms and farmers with conditions in our province can water the tea garden for 1-2 times from the end of February to the beginning of March, and each time should be watered thoroughly as far as possible. After watering, shallow ploughing and loosening soil was carried out between tea rows in order to preserve soil moisture and improve soil temperature.

9. Early mining. Young tea buds are the raw material basis for the production of famous and high-quality tea. When more than 5% of the tea buds in the tea garden meet the picking standards for suitable products, they should be mined immediately, and they should be picked in time, in batches, and early, so as to promote the continuous germination of spring tea, increase the proportion of high-grade tea, put it on the market earlier, and improve the economic benefits of tea.
