Cultivation and Management of potted Rhododendron
Azaleas are very beautiful, and everyone is willing to raise them, but how can they raise them well? There are many things to pay attention to here: azaleas like acidic soil and water, afraid of alkaline soil and water, afraid of waterlogging; like warm and cool, afraid of dry and hot environment, afraid of dry air; like semi-overcast, afraid of scorching sun; like thin fertilizer, afraid of thick fertilizer. What kind of soil larch humus soil acidity is suitable, soil quality is loose, fertile, good permeability, suitable for rhododendron growth.
What kind of water should be used for cuckoos? the PH value is less than 7. In areas where the water quality tends to be alkaline, in addition to storing Rain Water and snow water, acidified water can be used, that is, 100 jin of water plus 0.1% ferrous sulfate for perennial use. If the acidity is not enough, you can supplement it with less vinegar. How to water
(1) to use trapped water, that is, to dry the water at the same temperature as the cuckoo. Fish tank water, Rain Water, river water can also be used. (2) if the soil is not dry or irrigated, it should not be too dry, and the leaves will wilt if it is too dry.
(3) Water must be thoroughly watered.
(4) there are differences between winter and summer. The leaves are good in winter, but it doesn't hurt to get wet in summer. Flowering period should not be more watering, too much easy to drop buds and early thanks; spring and autumn wind is dry, must be sufficient. Pay attention to spraying leaves and ground, maintain a certain humidity, the amount of fertilizer used for azaleas is lighter than that of other flowers, the general rule is: fertilizing in growing period, not in dormant period, fertilizing in prosperous period, but not in diseased plants, fertilizing when leaf buds are active, but not fertilizing when inactive.
The cultivation of rhododendron in Belgium should be cultivated in acid soil, which can be used after composting with garden soil, rotten leaf soil plus pond mud or bran cake. It is better to collect mountain mud containing more humus in the forest area. The planting time is better in winter and spring, and seedlings bought from the market or mailed can be put on the pot directly in early spring. First put tiles on the bottom of the basin (plastic gauze net can also be), add potted soil to plant seedlings, should not be too deep, cover 1 cm-2 cm thick soil above the root, immediately pour water after planting, you can keep it in the shade. Because the Belgian rhododendron is not very resistant to fertilizer, the growing season can be watered with extremely dilute bean dregs or bran cake water once or twice a month, and it is best to use less chemical fertilizer so as not to hurt the roots and affect the growth. If the leaves are not green enough, they can be irrigated with 0.1% ferrous sulfate for 1-2 times, and the leaves will turn green. Potted seedlings must be watered until the potted soil is dry, but it must be thoroughly watered. The watering time is better in the evening, followed by in the morning. The water temperature for watering flowers must be close to the air temperature, and the temperature difference should not exceed 5 ℃, which is beneficial to plant growth. It is better to water flowers with river water and Rain Water. If tap water is used, the water should be placed in the tank for 24 hours and then used after the chlorine in the water volatilizes.
What kind of fertilizer is better with acidity and low alkalinity, which requires mild fertility, long fertilizer effect, and high content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Such as bean cakes, soybeans, sesame sauce dregs, rice washing water, horseshoe slices, meat washing eggs, milk, sheep dung and so on all contain nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

Talking about the cultivation and Management of Rhododendron
Rhododendron is one of the top ten famous flowers in China. Cuckoos can be watched in potted plants at home and are deeply loved by people. According to the practical experience of cultivation and management, the specific introductions are as follows: first, it is better to choose flowerpots with water permeability and strong air permeability, and it is not suitable to use glazed pots or vats for planting, because this kind of container has poor water absorption and air permeability. after watering, the soil is not easy to dry, for a long time, it is easy to cause rotting roots and, in serious cases, cause plant death. Therefore, for azaleas planted in purple sand pots, glaze pots and jars, more pots should be placed on the holes in the bottom of the basin.

Cultivation and Management of large Rhododendron cultivated in Pot
The cuckoo garden in Wuxi is mainly potted cuckoos, which has a number of large rhododendrons more than 50 or 60 years old, which is difficult to manage. in addition, the annual rhododendron flower show is held every year, and the cuckoos generally grow 20 days later after the exhibition. at that time, it will face a hot summer that is extremely disadvantageous to the growth of rhododendron. In order to enhance the growth of the cuckoo, we used our brains on the cultivated soil. The root system of rhododendron is shallow and thin, and it has high requirements for basin soil. In the past, we have been using orchid mud as a cultivation soil for turning pots, but in recent years we have found the market.
