Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Sprinkling method: sprinkling method, also known as sprinkling method, is the most commonly used method for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases with drugs. Drugs that can kill some pathogens but are harmless to the fish itself are sprinkled in the fish pond to reach a certain concentration to kill the pathogens on the body surface and Gill of the fish as well as in the water, so as to recover or improve the condition. In order to use the sprinkling method, we must first correctly measure the area and water depth of the fish pond, calculate the volume of the pond water, and then calculate the dosage, and sprinkle the medicine evenly into the fish pond in a certain form.

Sprinkle the law:

The sprinkling method, also known as the sprinkling method, is the most commonly used method for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases with drugs. Drugs that can kill some pathogens but are harmless to the fish itself are sprinkled in the fish pond to reach a certain concentration to kill the pathogens on the body surface and Gill of the fish as well as in the water, so as to recover or improve the condition.

To use the sprinkling method, we must first correctly measure the area and water depth of the fish pond, calculate the volume of the pond water, and then calculate the dosage, and sprinkle the medicine evenly into the fish pond in a certain form. Easy to master. However, for water bodies with large area, this method requires a large amount of medicine and labor.

Cause certain difficulties. At the same time, there are more opportunities for people and animals to be exposed to drugs.

Immersion method

Immersion method, also known as immersion method, is in a certain container with a higher drug concentration, with a relatively short time, forced fish to receive medicine, so as to kill the pathogens on the fish body surface or Gill. The immersion method is usually used before and after fish fingerling transfer or transportation, especially for some pathogens that need higher drug concentration to kill.

When the immersion method is adopted, different operation methods are adopted according to the different containers. There are roughly two types of containers commonly used, one is fixed containers, such as pots, buckets, fishing boats, boxes, canvas baskets, etc., the volume of this kind of container is fixed, after calculating the volume of water in the container, put the required amount of medicine at one time, and then put the fish into soaking for a certain period of time. If you need to wash multiple times, after each washing, you should add a large amount of medicine to maintain the effective concentration. The other is the micro-living water container, which usually uses a dense cage, which can flexibly calculate the water volume according to the number of fish, add the required amount of medicine, reach the required concentration, and put the fish into washing. As the liquid in the cage is constantly permeated and diluted, the medicine must be replenished at any time in the process of washing.

The length of washing time mainly depends on the degree of drug resistance of fish, in the safe range, the longer the better.

The advantage of this method is that the fish can be treated by high concentration solution in a short time, and the volume of the container is small, so the dosage can be saved. However, in the process of operation, due to different containers, there are many changes in water temperature, dissolved oxygen, physical strength of fish and other factors, such as improper grasp, accidents are easy to occur. And this method is limited to killing diseases and insect pests on the fish, and the fish can still be infected after being washed back in the pond. In addition, due to the denser fish in the immersion method, the fish are vulnerable to damage.
