Last Updated: 2024/09/20, 1. The pathogen is caused by Clonorchis sinensis parasitic in the bile duct of the liver. In addition to pigs, dogs, cats and people can also be infected. Clonorchis sinensis is a small and transparent trematodes, 10-20 cm long and 2-5 mm wide. With the fecal ratio, the eggs were swallowed by the freshwater snail of the first intermediate host in the water, developed in the snail body and escaped as cercariae. Cercariae enter the body of the second intermediate main freshwater fish to form metacercariae, and the final host (pigs, etc.) is infected by eating undercooked fish containing metacercariae. In the pig small intestine, the metacercaria wall membrane is eliminated.

1. Pathogen by clonorchiasis parasitism in the liver caused by bile duct. In addition to pigs, dogs, cats and humans can also be infected. Clonorchiasis sinensis is a small and transparent trematode, 10-20 cm long, 2-5 mm wide, willow leaf shape.

The eggs are distributed with faeces, swallowed by the first intermediate host freshwater snail in water, developed in the snail, and escaped as cercariae. Cercariae enter the body of the second intermediate derivative freshwater fish and form metacercariae, and the final host (pig, etc.) eats uncooked fish containing metacercariae and infects it. In the small intestine of pigs, the metacercaria wall membrane is digested, and the larvae migrate into bile ducts to develop into adults.

2. Symptoms A small amount of parasitism without any symptoms, a large number of parasitism when loss of appetite, emaciation, diarrhea, edema, ascites, mild jaundice.

3. Anatomy bile duct inflammation, connective tissue hyperplasia, worms can block bile duct, cirrhosis, sometimes necrosis.

4. Diagnosis Clinical symptoms combined with the presence of eggs in faeces can confirm the diagnosis.

5. Prevent manure fermentation and do not feed pigs raw fish.

6. treatment

① Try hexachlorophenol, 20 mg/kg body weight, once a day, for 2-3 days.

2. Piperazine propionate: 0.05-0.06 g/kg body weight, mixed with feed, once a day, 5 days a course of treatment, the effect is good.
