(1) Origin and distribution: It is the only black plumage variety among egg varieties in China. It is named for its central production area located in Jingtian, Fujian Province. Mainly distributed in Pingtan, Fuqing, Changle, Lianjiang, Fuzhou suburbs, Hui 'an, Jinjiang, Quanzhou and other counties. This breed is an egg type duck developed under beach grazing conditions. It is suitable for both soft beach grazing and hard beach grazing. It has strong heat resistance and salt tolerance, especially suitable for hard beach breeding in subtropical areas.
(2) Appearance characteristics Light and compact, flexible and fast. Male and female duck feathers are black, beak black green, shin, web black, black claws. Drake head and neck feathers are shiny, tail feathers, male characteristics are obvious.
(3) Production performance ① Laying performance The annual output of eggs is 250~280, and the egg weight is 63 grams. The shell color is mostly white, and the ratio of egg to feed is 3.84:1. (2) Growth speed Adult male ducks weigh 1300~ 1400g and female ducks 1550~ 1650g. (3) reproductive performance: the first laying age of female duck is about 120 days, the mating ratio of male duck to female duck is 1:25, and the fertilization rate of breeding eggs is about 95%.
