Why can the clouds in the mountains make good tea?
Alpine clouds and fog can produce good tea, which is gradually realized in the long-term production practice. The green tea in Yunwu Mountain has high aroma, strong taste, freshness and good quality. The reason is mainly related to alpine ecological factors.
First, the tea garden at a certain altitude has high mountains and forests, abundant rainfall, moist air and much scattered light, forming unique ecological conditions, resulting in deep and fertile soil, short sunshine and high relative humidity. Tea trees are moistened by fog all the year round, which is exactly in line with its growth characteristics of temperature, humidity and shade tolerance.
Second, the temperature difference between day and night in high mountains is large, there are more photosynthates synthesized during the day, and the respiration at night is weak, thus increasing the content of effective components in fresh leaves.
Third, because the scattered light is mainly blue-purple light with short light wave, it can promote the formation and accumulation of caffeine and nitrogen-containing aromatic compounds in tea.
Under such superior ecological conditions, tea buds are fat, tender and soft, and white hairs are exposed, which provides a material basis for the excellent quality of green tea.
