Rhododendron senii
Morphological characteristics Sen's rhododendron is a perennial woody plant, up to 10 m high, with elliptical lanceolate leaves and slightly curled edges. There is white fur on the back. The flowering period is from April to June, with large, pink to reddish flowers, glandular hairs, Corolla funnel-shaped, 3-4 cm, monoecious, ten stamens and coarse hairs at the base of the ovary. The fruit is a cylindrical capsule. Sen's rhododendron is distributed at high elevations in Taiwan, most commonly seen at 2000-3000 meters, while its twin brother, Yushan rhododendron, is distributed at higher elevations.

Rhododendron paniculata
Small evergreen shrubs belonging to the genus Rhododendron of the Rhododendron family. It is as high as 1.6m. Leaf blade elliptic or oblong, with yellowish, straw-colored or nearly colorless scales. Inflorescences with 1-3 (5) flowers; flowers purplish red. The florescence is from May to August. Like cool and moist, like acid and fertile soil, slightly shady. The plant is endemic to Xizang. Produced in the southeast of Xizang, mostly born under and at the edge of coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest or dark coniferous forest at an altitude of 3000-3600m. The flower color of this species is varied, pink, magenta, lavender to white.
