Gas poisoning silkworm eggs green stage or young silkworm one or two instar stage, the temperature of silkworm room is low, need to be heated. If coal products are used for heating, and there are no exhaust facilities on the coal stove, the toxic gases such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide accumulate in the silkworm room, which can cause poisoning of silkworm eggs and silkworms. Bombyx mori eggs are poisoned during the green stage and are prone to dead eggs or uneven hatching.

@#@250@#@In the process, poisoning sometimes occurs, which may affect the growth and development of silkworms in mild cases or cause a large number of deaths in severe cases. Therefore, we must arouse the attention of sericulture farmers and take measures to avoid losses.

1. gas poisoning

Silkworm eggs or young silkworm one or two instars, silkworm room temperature is low, need to be heated. If heated coal products are used, and there is no exhaust facility on the coal stove, toxic gases such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and carbon monoxide will accumulate in the silkworm room, which can cause silkworm eggs and young silkworm poisoning. Silkworm eggs are poisoned during the incubation period, and are prone to dead eggs or uneven hatching. Silkworm poisoning, chest swelling, vomiting water, tail contraction, soon died. Most of the corpses decomposed, and brown sewage flowed out after the skin was broken, and some dried up.

Prevention and control measures: using kang bed silkworm breeding and fire dragon, electric heating and other methods to avoid toxic gas in silkworm room; if heating with coal stove, be sure to install exhaust pipe, regular ventilation. Once silkworm eggs or small silkworm poisoning is found, ventilation should be carried out immediately, and silkworm eggs or small silkworms should be moved to a place with air circulation to alleviate poisoning symptoms.

2. Exhaust gas poisoning

If the silkworm room is close to the "three wastes" polluted area, harmful components in the waste gas, such as fluoride, sulfide, chloride and other toxic gases, will cause chronic poisoning of silkworm bodies. Poisoned silkworms lose appetite, develop slowly, their body color is dirty, and they gradually shrink and die.

Prevention and control measures: newly planted mulberry fields should be kept away from factories that emit "three wastes" to prevent the impact of harmful gases on mulberry fields; mulberry leaves that do not pollute toxic gases should not be used to feed silkworms to prevent poisoning after eating.

3. pesticide poisoning

One is exposure to pesticide poisoning; the other is inhalation of pesticide poisoning; the third is ingestion of pesticide contaminated mulberry leaf poisoning. Poisoned silkworms crawl everywhere, silkworm body spasms atrophy, a large number of spit, some excretion Lianzhu feces, prolapse and so on. Severe poisoning soon died, mild poisoning silkworm recovery is possible. Silkworms with trace poisoning in the middle and late 5th instar had no obvious symptoms at that time, but after clustering, they often became non-cocooning silkworms.

Control measures: pesticides are strictly prohibited in the silkworm room; correct use of pesticides, not contaminated mulberry leaves by pesticides to feed silkworms. If poisoning is found, the cause should be found out immediately, lime powder should be scattered on the silkworm seat to isolate the poison, and fresh mulberry leaves should be fed instead; for lightly poisoned silkworms, clean cold water or cold tea water can be used to rinse and induce vomiting to promote recovery; feeding management should be strengthened to reduce poisoning losses.

4. trichosis

Silkworm body contact or feed mulberry caterpillar poison hair, will cause body trauma or chemical toxicity, especially for young silkworms greater impact. After the young silkworm is poisoned by mulberry caterpillar poison hair, the appetite is wasted, the silkworm body shrinks and dies soon.

Control measures: seriously control mulberry pests, eliminate mulberry caterpillars; prevent mulberry caterpillars and mulberry caterpillars from molting into silkworm seats; do not use mulberry leaves with insect mouth and mulberry leaves attached by mulberry caterpillars to prevent mulberry caterpillars from harming silkworm bodies.
