2. The soil selected by soil quality and cultivation conditions is clayey, shallow and not fine; during the growth period, the soil is not cultivated in time, and the soil under the root is hardened; the planting is shallow, the row spacing is small, the base fertilizer is insufficient, and the topdressing is not much; there is no irrigation condition, it all depends on natural rainfall, once encountered drought, green onions will be desiccated and dehydrated.
3. The nutrients stored in the late spring onions are transferred downwards after the late spring onions are not harvested in time, and the upper parts of the green onions lose water and become soft; in order to grab the market and harvest ahead of time, most of the green onions will be empty after drying because the nutrients in the green leaves have not been transferred to the green onions.
II. Prevention and control measures
1. Select excellent Changbai Welsh onion varieties. Such as Zhangqiu scallions, rice scallions (whip scallions) and so on.
2. Select the land with deep soil layer, fertile soil and good drainage, and plough fine fertilizer deeply, generally more than 30 cm deep, dig 20 cm 30 cm deep, 15 cm 30 cm wide, and the furrow distance is 70 cm 80 cm wide in order to cultivate soil. Before planting, open ditches and fertilize, apply 1000-5000 kg crude fertilizer per mu, and then loosen ridges and furrows deeply to combine dung and soil.
3. It is appropriate to plant between Grain in Beard and Lesser Heat sooner rather than later, and if the green onion formation period is short, the onion white is short and thin, and the yield is low. At the same time, the seedlings are easy to grow, and it is not easy to slow down the seedlings in hot weather after planting.
4. When planting onions, they should be deeply planted and buried shallowly in order to cultivate the soil by stages. Generally, the distance between the plants is 1 cm, and the buried soil is about 8 cm. The standard is not to bury the heart leaves of onion seedlings. Green onion seedlings should be selected before planting, with a stem diameter of about 1 cm, 3-4 leaves, 30-40 cm high and free of diseases and insect pests.
5. Strengthen the cultivation and management. After planting, it is the lower stage of slow seedling before the Beginning of Autumn, and it is in a state of semi-dormancy, so we should strengthen ploughing and preserve soil moisture, promote root development, and do not irrigate after drought. After the Beginning of Autumn, before White Dew, the plant entered the peak period of leaf development, and it was necessary to strengthen fertilizer and water management from late August to late September, applying 15 kg urea per mu, burying soil, cultivating soil and irrigating in time after topdressing, entering the green onion growing period after the White Dew Festival, fertilization should be based on quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer, watering should be watered and re-watered, and the soil should be kept moist often to meet the needs of green onion growth.
6. Cultivate the soil in combination with mid-tillage. It is necessary to cultivate the ridges and ditches a little before the rainy season to prevent the roots from rotting caused by stagnant water in the planting ditches. The soil was cultivated once every 10-15 days after autumn, and it was an effective measure to increase the length of green onion, for a total of 3 times. 7. Be careful that the leaves stop growing. The suitable harvest time is 15-20 days before the soil is frozen, usually from Frosts Descent to the Beginning of Winter.
