Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Mountain brome is a kind of tufted perennial forage with tall plants, many leaves and high yield, but it has a short life span (usually 2-3 years). It is suitable for growing in warm and humid areas, poor cold resistance and heat resistance, and not resistant to drought. American brome is an annual or short-lived perennial forage with many leaves and adult leaves, and the plant height can reach 0.8-1.2 meters. It has good heat resistance, but is not resistant to frost. It adapts to the warm and humid subtropical climate in winter. Its yield is similar to that of mountain brome and can be similar to that of clover and ryegrass.
