Three excellent varieties of Robinia pseudoacacia
1. Robinia pseudoacacia No. 1
Henan Robinia pseudoacacia No. 1 (unified serial number 8048) was approved by Henan Forest Variety examination and approval Committee in 2000. The bark of this variety is light gray, shallowly lobed, the lobes are fine and uniform, the trunk is straight to the top, and the lateral branches are long and sparse. The crown is Obovate, the leaflet is wide and long oval.
Rapid growth, high and stable yield. In the loess hilly region of western Henan, the height of the 5-year-old tree is 9.14 meters and the DBH is 7.41 cm, which is significantly higher than that of Robinia pseudoacacia. Under the conditions of 350mm annual rainfall, 0.3% salt content in sandy soil and extremely low temperature-37 ℃ in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, Robinia pseudoacacia No. 1 did not suffer any freezing damage. The 7-year-old tree was 11.8m high and its DBH was 17.2 cm, which in turn exceeded the local common Robinia pseudoacacia in Inner Mongolia by 13.4% and 138.9%, and its volume exceeded several times. Therefore, Robinia pseudoacacia No. 1 is also suitable for afforestation in arid and cold areas, and it is the best variety of Robinia pseudoacacia for wind prevention and sand fixation in Northwest China.
Second, long-leaf Robinia pseudoacacia
Deciduous trees with extra long leaves, the average compound leaf length is 60 cm, the longest is 72 cm, the average length is 2-3 times that of Robinia pseudoacacia, the average length of leaflets is 7.2 cm, the average width is 3.5 cm, and the leaf area is more than 2 times that of Robinia pseudoacacia. It is an excellent variety of Robinia pseudoacacia as fodder and is suitable for cultivation in all parts of China.
Third and second degree safflower locust (Robinia pseudoacacia)
Robinia pseudoacacia is a rare landscaping tree species, which was introduced into Henan Province from the Netherlands in 1996. It can grow and develop normally in Henan. It is rare in that it blossoms twice a year, around May 1 for the first time and July 10 for the second time. The flowers are large and pink with a length of 3.7 cm and each flowering period is about 15 days. The young leaves are yellow and reddish in color, and the stem is reddish brown at the end of growth. The annual seedling is about 3 meters high and is an excellent street tree and garden greening tree species.

Is triploid large-leaf locust fast-growing large-leaf locust?
1. Tetraploid large-leaved locust is an excellent variety selected from several excellent clones of polyploid locust introduced from abroad after many years of concentrated research and experimental comparison. Tetraploid large-leaf Robinia pseudoacacia is a kind of artificial mutation tetraploid plant. It has the characteristics of fast-growing, large-leaf and large biomass. Its leaf width is more than 2 times of that of common Robinia pseudoacacia, and its compound leaf dry weight, single leaf dry weight and total leaf dry weight are 1.5 times or more than that of common Robinia pseudoacacia respectively. Compared with common Robinia pseudoacacia, tetraploid Robinia pseudoacacia has thicker canopy, thicker branches and higher photosynthetic energy.
