Utilization of three-wheat feed

Wheat bran, wheat bran and wheat straw are called three-wheat feed, which is an important feed in the main producing areas. Rational use of three-wheat feed can promote the development of animal husbandry. If used improperly, not only can not play the desired effect, but also lead to livestock and poultry infected with some diseases, resulting in economic losses.

Wheat bran

Wheat bran is a kind of feed with high phosphorus and low calcium. The ratio of phosphorus to calcium in wheat bran is 4 ∶ 1, which is opposite to the physiological ratio of calcium and phosphorus 1.5 ∶ 1 to 2 ∶ 1 in livestock and poultry. Excessive feeding of wheat bran can cause calcium deficiency in the proportion of calcium to phosphorus. Such as rickets of young animals, osteomalacia of adult animals, intestinal stones of equine animals, urolithiasis of male livestock and thin-shell eggs of poultry. The key measure for safe feeding of wheat bran is to master the reasonable dosage, which should generally be controlled below 20% of the formula feed.

If pigs are not fed wheat bran before 40 days old, 12% krone pigs under 55 kg, 55 kg ~ 90 kg fattening pigs account for 15%, breeding boars and pregnant sows account for 20%, and lactating sows account for 16%.

Wheat bran

Wheat bran has sharp thorns, and machine threshing is even more serious. When feeding, thorns can damage the mouth, and over a long period of time, cattle will eat grass slowly, chew slowly, lose their body, and their physique will decline. The key measure of reasonable feeding wheat bran is to go through harmless treatment first. There are two kinds of treatment methods: one is the rolling method, a small amount of stone rolling can be used, and a large number of stone rolling can be used. The second is the Alkalization method, quicklime 3 kg, salt 0.5 kg, water 150 kg, mix and stir evenly, add 100 kg wheat bran, soak for one day and night. Fish it into the basket, drain the liquid, and feed it. After alkalization of wheat bran, thorns soften, no wound cavity, and can supplement calcium.

Wheat straw

The untreated wheat straw has high crude fiber content, low digestibility, poor palatability, livestock do not like to eat, and easy to cause knot disease to equine animals, which belongs to inferior feed. However, if given special treatment, the method is the same as wheat bran, all kinds of livestock can be fed. Can be ammoniated, can be treated with ammonia, ammonium bicarbonate and urea. Take urea treatment as an example: 10kg urea is dissolved into 10% solution with 90kg water, wheat straw is chopped, about 2cm ~ 3cm long, every 100kg wheat straw is sprayed with 30kg urea solution, sealed with plastic film, when the temperature is above 20 ℃, it can be taken after half a month, and it is better to feed ruminants such as cattle and sheep.
