Mei Ren Mei is a plum plum type variety of cherry plum family, which was introduced into China in 1980s by French cross breeding between red leaf plum and palace powder type varieties.

Compared with other plum blossom varieties, the morphological characteristics of Mei plum are as follows: the twigs are dark purple, the big branches are gray-brown-purple, and the leaves are dark purple. The buds are broad, oval, lavender and pink. The normal flowering period is March in the Yangtze River Basin and later in the north. The petals are 25-28, radiate and the heart of the flower is exposed. The flower diameter is 29034 mm, the flower pattern is similar to a dish shape, and the petal edge is flying. The positive and negative sides of the flower color are about lilac, and the flower heart is deeper. Sepals 5, twisted, crimson purple, pedicel 0.4-0.9 cm long. Potted plants should pay attention to the following three points:
