Ten methods for identifying diseased sheep

At a glance. Healthy sheep eyes are flexible, bright and vivid, clean and moist. The diseased sheep were apathetic, sagging eyes and slow response.

Look at the ears. The ears of non-diseased sheep are often erect and flexible, and the head of diseased sheep is low in the earlobe. The ear does not shake.

Look at the coat color. The coat of healthy sheep is neat, shiny and elastic. The coat of the diseased sheep is dishevelled and dull.

Fourth, look at rumination. The sheep without disease began to ruminate for 30 minutes after feeding for 30 minutes and began to regurgitate for 6 times for 8 times in a day and night. The ruminating of diseased sheep decreased or stopped.

Fifth, look at the dynamic. Sheep without disease often gather together, whether they eat or rest. Most of them lie on their side when they rest, and stand up as soon as they approach. Sick sheep appetite, ruminating loss, grazing often fall to lie on the ground, there are a variety of abnormal posture.

Look at defecation and defecation. No disease sheep feces is a small ball-shaped mass, no smell, urine is clear and colorless or slightly yellow, and regular. The defecation of the diseased sheep is unlimited, the stool is thin or hard, or even stops, and the urine is yellow or bloody.

Seven check the mouth. The oral mucosa of the disease-free sheep is light red, it feels warm with the touch of hands, and there is no stench. When the mouth of sick sheep is hot and cold, mucositis drooling or flushing dry and astringent, there is a bad smell.

The tongue of Bacha sheep is pink and shiny, the rotation is flexible, the tongue coating is normal, the tongue movement of diseased sheep is not good, the tongue is weak, the moss is thin and colored, or the coating is thick and rough.
