Aliases: Bai Laifa, enlightening pear, Kaihua pear, Fuyang pear. French variety, a very early-maturing and excellent variety, ripens about a week later than Xiaofu pear. Widely cultivated in countries all over the world, there are a small amount of cultivation in Shandong Peninsula, Liaoning, Shanxi, Zhengzhou, Henan, Shaanxi, Jiangxi, * *, Gansu: Sichuan, Qinghai, Ningxia, Jiangsu and other provinces (cities and autonomous regions), and trial planting has been introduced in Guizhou Province.

The fruit is small or medium. The average weight of a single fruit is 6112g, and the largest one is 147g. Most of the fruits are gourd-shaped, often with protuberances on one side. The pericarp is yellowish green, the sunny side is red, the fruit surface is smooth and waxy, the fruit spot is medium-large, not obvious, and the appearance is beautiful. Fruiting pedicel 2.9 cm long, 2.8 mm thick; pedicel depression nearly absent. Sepals persistent, medium large calyx shallow and broad, wrinkled. The heart is small, with 5 ventricles. The flesh is white, the flesh is fine, and after 3-5 days, it becomes soft, juicy, lubricated, easily soluble in the mouth, sour and sweet with slight fragrance, high quality and so on. Contains 14.6%-16% soluble solids. In Xingcheng, Liaoning Province, the fruit was harvested in mid-July and ripened very early. The fruit is not resistant to storage and can be stored for about half a month at room temperature. The fruit is mainly used for fresh food. The tree grows moderately, the branches are dense and soft, and the leaves are drooping. The 5-year-old tree is 3.1 meters high. The stem circumference is 20 cm and the crown diameter is 2.45 m × 2.55 m. The sprouting power is strong, the bud germination is 72.54%, the branching power is medium, and there are 2 or 3 long branches under the general cutting mouth. The initial fruiting age is middle and late, and generally fruiting 4 ~ 5 years after planting, all types of fruit branches can bear fruit, but mainly short fruit branches bear fruit. According to the survey, short fruit branches accounted for 47.74%, medium fruit branches accounted for 16.81%, and long fruit branches accounted for 35.45%. The fruiting ability of fruit platform branch is weak, and the life span of short fruit branch is long, which can be maintained for 5 to 6 years. There are 2 fruits in each sequence, the yield is medium, and the yield of 10-year-old trees is about 50 kg. Pre-harvest fruit drop is light, the size of the year is not obvious. In Xingcheng, Liaoning, flower buds germinate in mid-April, early flowers in early May, blossoms and final flowers in mid-May, fruits are harvested in mid-July, and leaves fall in mid-November. The days of fruit development and vegetative growth were 68 days and 214 days respectively.

The fruit ripens very early, high quality and beautiful appearance, which can be developed in the suburbs and industrial and mining areas along the coast, northwest and the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River to supply and regulate the market.
