Hero (red pepper)
Hero pepper is an excellent variety of sharp pepper bred by Taiwan Nongyou Seedling Company, which has the characteristics of high yield, high quality and strong resistance. Mirror comparison and production demonstration, outstanding performance, has a good value of promotion. The yield of protected cultivation can be 3000 kg per mu, and the output value can be more than 5000 yuan.
1 feature characteristic
Plant growth is strong, plant height 75 cm, poison 70 cm, strong branching, dense internodes, properly managed, 1 plant can bear more than 150 fruits, young fruit is dark green, fruit length is 15cm ~ 18cm, transverse diameter 1.5cm, fruit surface is smooth, fruit is cone-shaped, spicy, fruit soluble solids content is as high as 6.2%, crude fiber is 3.52%, vitamin C is 133.2mg/100g, carotene content is 8.2mg/100g. The whole growth period is 280 days, has strong disease tolerance, grows well at low temperature, and takes 80 days from planting to harvest.
2 main points of cultivation
2.1 Seedling raising: cultivating strong seedlings is the key to high yield. The seedlings are raised in a small arch shed, the sowing amount is 3 per square meter, and the sowing should be uniform. After sowing, the seedlings should be covered with fine soil and organic fertilizer to cover the seeds, and the sunshade net should be covered on the seedling bed after the seeds are covered, so as to prevent the seedlings from growing too long caused by high temperature. The sowing period of protected cultivation is from July 15 to August 5.
2.2 soil preparation and planting: after spreading basic fertilizer, make high ridge planting, ridge width 1: 1.2 m, ridge depth 25 cm, row spacing 70 cm, plant spacing 80 cm, double-row planting, transplanting 5-6 true leaves, planting 2500 plants per mu.
2.3 Field management: harvesting and integrated control of diseases, insect pests and weeds are the same as conventional varieties.

Adding garlic feed to improve the growth of pigs
Swiss researchers have found that adding a small amount of garlic to pig feed is good for the healthy growth of pigs. Maybe garlic is enough to play the role of antibiotics in the feeding process of pigs. Martin Jost of the Poultry Research Institute added general antibiotics, garlic or nothing to the feed of three groups of piglets. The results showed that the effect of garlic on reducing diarrhea and death of piglets was better than that of no garlic or only antibiotics, but the deficiency was that the pigs fed with garlic as additive gained weight more slowly, while antibiotics were used.

Storage technology of lotus root
The stored lotus roots should be strictly selected for disease-free, solid lotus roots with thick flesh and low water content, which should not be washed after harvest and stored with mud on the surface. It can be stored in shallow pits indoors and covered with straw or soil. Or in the storage for sand stratification, the surface covered with sand 5 cm 10 cm. The cover should not be too thin, otherwise the bulbs of the surface layer are easy to dehydrate and lose freshness. If the humidity is too high, it is easy to take root and rot. According to the experiment, it was buried with dry sand in cold storage at 5: 7 ℃ (finally, 11 ℃) and in ordinary basement (9: 14 ℃ in winter, 23: 25 ℃ in summer).
