Some suggestions on developing leisure fishery

How to develop China's leisure fishery has attracted the attention of the relevant departments many years ago. In the fishery development goal of China in 2000, the Fisheries Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture clearly put forward that it is necessary to adapt to the changes of the consumer market and actively develop leisure fisheries where there are conditions. Subsequently, leisure fishery has been developed in some parts of our country.

Relevant experts pointed out that leisure and ornamental fisheries, as new things that have emerged in the process of fishery restructuring, are still in the initial stage, and there are still problems such as inadequate facilities and lagging behind in related services. Due to various reasons, the number of large-scale leisure places integrating viewing, fishing, accommodation, catering and entertainment in our country is still relatively small. On the basis of this, in order to vigorously develop leisure fisheries, the following suggestions are put forward:

I. formulating the development plan of leisure fishery

Experts suggest that the planning and layout of the development of leisure fishery in China should be combined with the construction of tourist attractions, with the construction of modern fishery and agricultural demonstration parks, and fishing leisure fishery should be carried out in the national scenic spots and the suburbs of large and medium-sized cities. In the tourist scenic spots around large and medium-sized cities, make use of the existing water surface resources to build leisure scenic spots integrating sightseeing, fishing and leisure; in reservoirs and lakes, projects such as cage fishing, sailing, skiing and Yujiale can be carried out; in suburban aquaculture bases, leisure fisheries such as fishing and fishing experience can be developed. In operation, we should break the simple mode of single production and single fishing, attract tourists by fishery, create benefits by three-industry service, implement the combination of long and short, culture and fishing, give priority to culture in the initial stage of development, give priority to fishing in the suburbs, and take cultivation as a supplement; in the outer suburbs, take fishing as the auxiliary and raise as the main, constantly expand the service function and increase the benefit.

Select some important ports and tourist areas in a planned way, introduce some preferential policies, mobilize social forces, and social organizations come forward to raise some funds to try to set up a leisure market for direct marketing of fishing goods, so as to better arrange the labor of fishing areas and attract customers and tourists. Activate the market and increase the income of fishermen.

Develop fishing entertainment in the suburbs of cities and towns

It is necessary to make use of the existing aquaculture sites as the basis, make rational layout, improve various service facilities, including catering, entertainment, hotel, transportation, bait supply of fishing gear and technical services, and create an elegant environment for fishing enthusiasts. Efforts should be made to change the current situation that some urban residents want to go fishing with nowhere to go, have places to go fishing but the environment is not good, and the services are not matched.

Second, set up a number of sea fishing bases

A number of sea fishing bases with excellent environmental conditions and relatively complete service facilities have been set up in a planned way to attract tourists and fishing enthusiasts at home and abroad to carry out fishing activities. To establish a sea fishing base, in addition to building a fishing wharf (combined with cage farming), it is necessary to combine the reduced waste fishing vessels with the construction of "swimming fishing reefs". In this way, it will not only solve the way out of abandoned fishing vessels, but also be conducive to the protection and value-added of fishery resources, and create good fishing places for marine fishing tourism.

III. Actively develop tourism in coastal fishing areas

After years of development, China's coastal fishing areas have taken on a new look and have very good tourism resources. After the opening of coastal fishing villages in Yantai, Weihai, Dalian, Zhoushan, Ningbo, Xiamen, Shantou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and other cities, domestic and foreign tourists have given good comments. For these fishing areas and islands with good economic development, convenient transportation and great changes in the appearance of fishing villages, they should be regarded as key tourist spots, keep them open to the outside world all the year round, and have their own characteristics, combining tourism with tasting seafood flavor.

IV. Launch marine tourism activities

Marine tourism includes sea tours, marine fishing, undersea fish watching and island tourism. To set up these projects, it is necessary to have better tourist boat equipment and strict safety measures, and second, to provide sightseeing and recreational projects. The construction of these projects is relatively large in investment and scientific in nature, and should be set up step by step according to the conditions. Those who do not have the conditions or are not ripe should not be launched in a hurry.
