The root system of Radix Glehniae is a traditional Chinese medicine in China, which has the effects of nourishing yin and clearing heat, moistening the lung and resolving phlegm, benefiting stomach and promoting fluid, and is often used for Yin deficiency and chronic cough, phlegm and blood consumption, dry cough and less phlegm. Good daily management during planting can effectively improve yield and quality. Let's follow the editor to take a look at the field management skills of Radix Scutellariae.

1. Ploughing and weeding

After sand ginseng sowing and emergence, the first thing to do is to weed, weeds will affect the growth of seedlings, especially in spring sowing, the unearthed time of seedlings before and after Grain Rain, when the temperature is suitable, Rain Water is abundant, weeds grow fast. In addition, moderate intermediate tillage combined with weeding can promote the growth and development of seedling roots, and then several times of intermediate ploughing and weeding should be carried out. The depth of intermediate tillage should be deeper and deeper each time, keep the soil loose and permeable, and promote the root system to grow downward. When the seedlings have reached the length of the whole border and are covered by its stems and leaves, the growth of weeds is limited, so there is no need to weed, and weeds can be pulled out manually when weeds are needed.

2. Fertilizer and water management

If you want to grow fast, fertilization is an important measure, topdressing 2-3 times a year, the first time in the seedlings, after weeding, watering the seedlings with thin dung and livestock water to promote the growth of seedlings. The second time in May-June, 15 kg of diammonium phosphate can be applied per mu; the third time in July, the amount of compound fertilizer depends on the growth status of the planting, if the soil fertility is barren, the amount of fertilizer can be increased appropriately. Water immediately after each fertilization, so as not to cause burns to the stems and leaves of the plant and affect the normal growth of sand ginseng.

3. Pest control

The common diseases of sand ginseng are root rot, brown spot and rust, which will affect the yield and quality of sand ginseng and cause plant death in serious cases, so we should pay attention to disease control. The control of root rot can be sprayed with acetaminophen, the control of brown spot can be sprayed with hydantoin, and the control of rust can be sprayed with trimethoprim. Pests are harmful to land tigers, locusts and aphids. Ground tigers mainly endanger their roots and constantly gnaw on roots, which can be controlled by spraying trichlorfon; locusts and aphids eat leaf tissue and can be sprayed with Amelo or dimethoate.

4. Harvest

From autumn to cold season, it is the harvest season of sand ginseng, if planted on flat land can be harvested by mechanical operation, while those with larger slopes should be harvested manually. In the harvest is to dig a 60 cm deep groove at the end of the plot to expose the roots of sand ginseng, put forward by hand, remove the leaves, and then take out the upper part of the head of the shaved sand ginseng, after cleaning, divide it according to size.

The above is the introduction of the field management technology of Radix Scutellariae. I hope it can help you. If you want to know more about it, please follow us.
