Introduction of some improved varieties of Big Buddha Longjing Tea
With the development of famous and high-quality tea production, the function and benefit of improved varieties of clones have become increasingly prominent, and have been rapidly popularized and welcomed by tea farmers. In order to enable the majority of tea farmers to reasonably select improved tea seedlings and identify fake and inferior tea seedlings in the development of new tea gardens, some of the improved varieties suitable for the production of Buddha Longjing tea are briefly introduced. The main results are as follows: (1) Yingshuang is a national improved variety, which is a small tree type and middle leaf clone selected and bred by Hangzhou Tea Institute. The main characteristics are that the mining period of developing early famous tea is about March 20, the germination density is medium, the ability of white bud is strong, and the growing period is long. Frosts Descent still has tea to pick in season, strong tenderness, weak resistance and high yield, which is especially suitable for making famous tea, such as Longjing tea. the green tea has high aroma and strong taste. (2) Jingfeng national improved variety, small tree, middle leaf variety. The mining time of sprouting early famous tea is the same as Yingshuang. Medium germination density, strong sprouting ability, fat bud leaves, slightly more hairs, high cutting survival rate and high yield. (3) Cuifeng national improved variety, small tree type and middle leaf variety. It sprouted earlier and the mining period was at the end of March. High germination density, strong sprouting ability, fat bud leaves, emerald green leaves, strong cold and drought resistance. The yield is high, the quality of green tea is high and the taste is good. (4) Chrysanthemum spring national improved variety, shrub type and middle leaf variety selected by China Tea Research Institute. Early germination, famous tea mining time March 10, yellow-green leaves, strong tenderness, strong sprouting ability, high yield, strong drought and cold resistance, poor disease resistance. (5) Longjing 43 national improved varieties, shrub and middle leaf clones. Early germination, mining time with frost; strong sprouting power, short and strong bud leaves, less hairs, high survival rate of cutting, strong cold resistance, weak drought resistance, poor tenderness, especially suitable for making Longjing flat tea. (6) shrub and middle leaf varieties selected by farmers in Wuniuzao Yongjia County. It germinates very early, the mining period of famous tea is in the first ten days of March, the germination density is high, the rotation is obvious, the bud ability is strong, the bud leaves are fat, the stress resistance is strong, and the yield is still high. (7) the middle leaf variety of Longjing long-term shrub type has the advantages of early germination, strong sprouting ability, strong tenderness, less hairs, stronger resistance, higher yield and tender taste than Longjing 43. (8) the middle leaf varieties of Zhenong 139 Zhejiang Agricultural University germinated earlier than the frost, exploited in early March, the leaves were green, the yield was high, the tenderness was good, the cold resistance and disease resistance was strong, and the insect resistance was slightly worse than that of Fuding Dabai tea. The green tea is of high quality and fragrance. (9) improved clones of Zhenong 117. The time of germination is early, and the mining time of famous tea is in early March. The leaf color is yellow and green, the bud breeding ability is strong, the resistance is strong, especially the cold resistance is outstanding, the yield is high. The green tea has a long-lasting fragrance and a strong, fresh and refreshing taste.

It is a clone. It is a state-level seed. It is bred by Tea Research Institute of Hunan Province. At present, it has been extended to Hubei, Anhui and other provinces.
