Codonopsis codonopsispilosula Campanulaceae.

Flowers 1-3 branches apical, calyx glabrous, lobes 5, narrowly orbicular or rectangular-orbicular-lanceolate, 1.6-1.8 cm long; Corolla yellowish green, broadly campanulate, long 1.8-2.4cm, glabrous, 5-lobed, lobes deltoid, acute; stamens 5, ovary semi-inferior, 3-loculed. Capsule 3-valved, with persistent calyx.

Codonopsis pilosula of the genus Codonopsis of Platycodon grandiflorum, scientific name Codonopsispilosula (Franch.) Nannf., perennial twining herb. It gets its name from Shangdang County, which originated in China (now Changzhi District, Shanxi Province). The Sui Dynasty was changed to Luzhou, so it is also known as Codonopsis pilosula.
