Evergreen shrubs or small trees, to 5 m tall; branchlets subquadrangular. Leaf blade leathery, surface glossy, Obovate or narrowly elliptic, 3mur6cm long, 2MUE 3cm wide, apex pointed or obtuse, base cuneate, margin serrulate; petiole ca. 6mur12 mm.
