Snake abscess is caused by infection of snake trauma. After the snake suffers from abscess, the wound swells and fester. When abscesses and ulcers expand to a regular level, or when the snake cannot shed its skin due to abscess or ulceration, it can also cause the death of the snake.

The abscess disease of snakes is often due to wounds on the snake body, such as wounds caused by snakes biting each other; injuries and abrasions caused by snake cages in the process of transporting snakes; wounds that may be caused when snake mites are removed from the snake body, and so on, such as these wounds are not treated in time, resulting in infection with bacteria, resulting in the occurrence and development of abscess disease.

The treatment of abscess is mainly when the wound appears, smear the affected area with purple potion or 1%-2% iodine, 2-3 times a day, until the wound heals. Under normal circumstances, it can be cured after about 5 to 10 days of treatment.
