Bagging peach fruits and picking bags
Editor's note: fruit bagging can effectively reduce fruit cracking and mechanical damage, improve fruit color, greatly improve the commerciality of fruit, prevent diseases and insect pests, reduce pesticide dosage and reduce pesticide residues. In order to help farmers master this technology, we specially invite relevant experts to introduce the bagging technology of peach, kiwifruit, citrus, pear, grape and other fruits. In this issue, we introduce kiwifruit and peach bagging technology.
The bagging technical measures of kiwifruit are as follows: bag selection, fruit thinning, fruit fixing, spraying, fruit mulching, protection and bagging.
The choice of paper bag is a single layer of beige thin waxy wood pulp paper bag, which is 15cm long and 11cm wide, with a seam in the middle of the upper mouth and iron wire on the side, and an opening of 2cm in the lower corner. The paper bag should be waterproof, breathable and tough.
Kiwifruit with short shoots pruned during dormancy was used for fruit thinning, and fruit branches were retained as far as possible, leaving 3-4 fruits per fruit branch to remove excess fruit. The kiwifruit with long shoot pruning was used to remove the fruit on the fruit-bearing branch which grew weakly at the base of the fruit-bearing branch, and the rest of the fruit-bearing branches left 2-3 fruits. Results if the fruit-bearing branch could not be produced normally in the middle of the mother branch, 3-4 fruits could be left on the sparse fruit-bearing branch. If the tree is weak and injured, the fruiting mother branch should leave little fruit or no fruit. Timely removal of disease, insect, deformed fruit, grinding spot fruit, malnourished fruit. When thinning fruit, first inside then outside, first weak branch then strong branch. According to the strength of the fruiting mother branches, the young garden trees left 2-3 fruiting branches per fruiting mother branch and 2-3 fruits per fruiting branch.
Spraying insecticides and fungicides in the whole garden before fruit bagging can be sprayed with 2500 times of thiazuron, 2000 times of 18% frontal killing, or 2000 times of green kungfu, methyl thiophanate or carbendazim and other broad-spectrum fungicides. Control beetles, small fuel beetles, bugs, shell insects and other pests, control fruit soft rot, gray mold and other diseases. It is forbidden to use pesticides with high toxicity and residues and to control the use of plant growth regulators.
The bagging time of rhesus monkey peach fruit increased the fastest 40 days after blooming, and the bagging time was about the last ten days of June. But it must be done after spraying. When exposed to the sun during the day, it can be at 8: 12 a.m. and 3: 7 p.m.
In the bagging method, the mouth of the bag is opened with one hand, the intact young fruit is put into the fruit bag from bottom to top, and the mouth of the bag is broken into a uniform fold with the other hand, and the fold is fastened with the iron wire on the side of the bag. as a result, the solitary fruit on the branch can be directly tied to the fruit branch, the tufted fruit is directly tied to the fruit stalk, and the folded fruit bag fold is lined on the fruit stalk, which can not be sprained or hurt. Check whether the bottom of the bag is open or not. if the bottom of the bag is closed, cut the 2cm opening with scissors. The mouth is tightly sealed. When bagging, first inside and then outside, the action is gentle, and the sagging or upright bagging branches should be fixed in time to prevent the wind from swinging.
After the set-up management, fertilizer and water management should be strengthened. After bagging, root fertilizer can be applied, foliar fertilizer can be sprayed, and attention should be paid to irrigation and drainage. Strengthen summer pruning, cultivate enough vegetative branches and protect the leaf curtain layer. Strengthen the integrated prevention and control of diseases and insect pests. Stabilize the frame wood in time, tie branches in time, and strengthen the tree against the wind.
The fruits can be harvested without bags after entering the ripening period. Remove the paper bag 3-5 days before fruit picking. For the fruit bag tied to the fruit branch, first hold the bottom of the fruit bag, loosen the thread of the fruit bag, and rotate the fruit bag to pick the fruit together with the fruit bag. The one tied to the fruit stalk can drag the bottom of the fruit bag to rotate and pick the fruit together with the fruit bag. Gently unpack the fruit bag and remove it, then grade it.
