A New Cold-resistant Apricot Variety-Longyuan Sweet Apricot
Longyuan sweet apricot is a new cold-resistant variety, which is bred by 79-15L14 (631 apricot × Dajie apricot) as male parent and 797mur1 (North No. 2 Li × Dajie apricot) as female parent. It was examined and approved by Heilongjiang crop Variety approval Committee in February 2006. The fruit is nearly round with a yellow background and a redness on the sunny side. the average weight of a single fruit is 59.2g. The maximum is 75.5g. Orange flesh, meat is fine, soft, less fiber. Juice, sweet and sour taste at 1:3, containing soluble solids 13.90% good quality. The kernel is free and the kernel is sweet. the average weight per nucleus is 2.5g. In Harbin, the fruit matured in July 20El, and the fruit development period was 75 days (days). The tree has moderate potential, high yield and strong cold resistance.
