Qinchuan cattle are widely raised by farmers because of their strong adaptability, fast weight gain, high meat yield, low cost and high efficiency. Because of its good carcass quality, it has been rated as the second best beef cattle breed in the catering industry in Hong Kong. In the fattening process of Qinchuan cattle, three key techniques of breed selection, feed composition and feeding methods should be grasped.

3 feeding methods

Qinchuan cattle are fattened for 100 minutes and 120 days. Physical examination should be carried out before fattening. Diseased cattle, older cattle and particularly thin cattle should not be regarded as fattening cattle. The purchased cattle should be dewormed in vivo and in vitro, and the commonly used drugs are levamisole hydrochloride, trichlorfon and so on. Pegging is adopted to limit the amount of exercise. Tied up in the yard during the day, dragged into the cowshed at night. Feed cattle mainly with hay, feed with distiller's grains, etc., must be from less to more, to make it adapt. After 15 days, the amount of hay was gradually reduced and the feed amount of distiller's grains was increased. In order to ensure the normal digestion and exuberant appetite of cattle and improve the rapid weight gain, the diet should be properly mixed with concentrate feed. The hay should be short and the concentrate should be mixed in the hay feed. Feed three times a day, drink enough water and tie the trough to feed carefully. In the course of feeding, we should pay attention to the feed should be fresh, no impurities, no mildew, no corruption. Feed available hay, ammoniated feed, storage feed, sugar beet dregs and so on in winter. Each head is fed with ammoniated feed 16 Mel 18 kg per day, or sugar beet dregs 30 kg, supplemented with 50 grams of salt every day. The barn should be kept dry and clean, well ventilated and warm in winter. Often clean feces, barn utensils regular disinfection, regularly do a good job of vaccination, in the morning and afternoon to often brush the cow body. Some weight gain agents should not be used as far as possible, a spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture said: even if the weight gain is fast, it cannot be used.
