Garland chrysanthemum
Garland chrysanthemum is an annual or biennial herb of Compositae and Artemisia annua. Stems erect and much branched, plant height 30 cm to 70 cm, leaves bipinnatifid. Head, Corolla has red, pink, yellow, white, purple and other colors, often two, three colors are complex ring, florescence from June to September.
Garland chrysanthemum is native to Morocco in North Africa. It likes cool climate and its suitable temperature is 15 ℃ to 25 ℃. It can grow in pastoral soil, slightly acidic soil and sandy loam regardless of soil. Sowing and reproducing can be sown in spring or autumn. It can be potted or directly planted in the open field, and the suitable row spacing is 20 cm × 25 cm. During the growing period, topdressing should be applied every two weeks, either dried chicken manure or compound chemical fertilizer, appropriate amount of fertilizer should be applied, and timely watering should be required.
Garland chrysanthemum flower color is gorgeous and the florescence is long, the garden is mostly used to decorate the flower bed or flower border, but also can be potted ornamental. Indoor pot culture, it is best to carry out shortening treatment first, when the seedling height is about 10 cm, you can smear the stem with a concentration of 0.1%, once every 10 days, until the bud is formed, stop applying the solution. In this way, the seedling height is only about 20 cm, which is used to decorate the study and living room. Garland chrysanthemum can also be used as a cut flower material, combined with lilies, roses and carnations to make baskets or bouquets.
