At present, the price of peel is on the rise, and some farmers are eager for quick success and quick profit and feeding blindly, resulting in an increasing incidence and mortality of gastric perforation. Here are some suggestions to share with the majority of colleagues and farmers.

First, pay attention to observation and adjust feeding in time

With the growth of raccoon dogs, most of the raccoon dogs have entered the mature stage around September, so they should be diligent in observing their eating and fecal status. If there is always a small amount of residual food residue at the bottom of each plate, and the feces are slightly sparse, then the amount of feed is just right. In this state, you can no longer increase the feed at the previous rate; if you lick the bottom of the plate for more than 3 days in a row, you can appropriately increase the amount of food.

If you feed too much, not only will not receive the same ratio of weight gain, but will appear indigestion leading to enteritis, and eventually lead to gastric perforation.

Second, reasonably reduce the protein content.

As the temperature drops, the raccoon dog's activity decreases, coupled with the increase in skin fat stored in the previous period, the demand for protein decreases. At the same time, the stomach and intestines of raccoon dogs are weakened accordingly, and the high protein in the feed will cause a burden on raccoon dogs' stomach and intestines, resulting in gastric perforation. At this time, the animal protein content can be gradually reduced to 18%, and the cellulose and starch content can be increased.

Third, strengthen disinfection

Most farmers ignore the disinfection of food troughs and venues after summer, which is a misunderstanding. Although the temperature decreased at this time, the growth of some pathogenic microorganisms is still very active, and it is easy to cause gastroenteritis symptoms and gastric perforation after invading the body.

Pay attention to the thinness of food when the temperature drops

Thicker foods can easily cause stomach ulcers, resulting in stomach perforation. At the same time, to reduce the fat content in food, in order to promote the quality of fur, blindly adding animal and vegetable oils often leads to stomach perforation.
