New product introduction: Shoulin peach king, a new peach variety
Shoulin Peach King is a new variety of super early-maturing and high-quality peach selected by Li Wenlin, a senior agronomist of Shouxian Fruit Tree Research Institute in Anhui Province.
Shoulin peach king fruit shape is nearly round, with an average weight of 280 grams per fruit. The flesh is milky white or milky red, juicy, sweet and delicious. It contains 11.8-13.9% soluble solids, 11.5-13.8% total sugar, 5.9 mg / 100 g vitamin C, rich nutrition, semi-detached fruit and thick pericarp, which is conducive to long-distance transportation.
This variety has strong adaptability and can be planted in most parts of the country. Planting in winter and spring, prepare sufficient base fertilizer before planting, turn the soil deeply, plant 35-40 plants per mu, close planting 70-120 plants, and about 660 plants in greenhouse. If properly managed, more than 2500 kg of fruit can be produced per mu after 3 years. Pollination trees should be planted during cultivation, and the proportion of pollination trees is from 4:1 to 8:1. The peach king of Shoulin blossoms at the beginning of March in central Anhui, blossoms at the end of March, and ripens in mid-June.
