Watering before bag watering not only promotes the fruit growth, but also has two functions: one is to reduce the sunburn after removing the bag, and the other is to change the microclimatic conditions of the orchard, increase the temperature difference between day and night, and create night dew. it is beneficial to the coloring of the fruit (it can also spray water in the evening of the fruit coloring period). The watering time is 2-3 days before removing the bag, and then watering timely according to the dry weather, the amount of water is not easy to be large, so that the soil water content is kept at about 60% of the maximum capacity in the field.

The bagging time of Red Fuji apples is about 30 days before picking, usually from late September to early October. It is best to choose cloudy or cloudy days for bagging to avoid sunburn after bagging. If bagging is removed on a high temperature and sunny day, bags can be removed after 10:00 when the temperature of the fruit surface is close to or slightly higher than that of the atmosphere. It is not suitable to remove bags in the morning or evening.

The purpose of removing the bag and padding the fruit at the same time is to prevent the wear and tear of the branches and leaves to the fruit surface after removing the bag. Picking leaves should not be carried out at noon when the sun is exposed, in order to avoid sunburn of the fruit. The time should be cloudy, or after 3: 00 p. M. on a sunny day.

After foliar spraying Fuji apple bagging, due to the high temperature in the bag, strong calcium metabolism, and less mobility of calcium in the tree, compared with unbagged fruit, it is more likely to cause calcium deficiency and bitter pox disease. After removing the bag, the fruit is in the near ripening stage, which is another peak of calcium absorption, so spraying calcium fertilizer 2 or 3 times after removing the bag can reduce the occurrence of bitter pox disease. All kinds of amino acid calcium fertilizer can be selected. In addition, in order to promote fruit coloring, combined with calcium supplement, 200 × 300 times of potassium dihydrogen phosphate was sprayed on the leaf for 3 times.

Red spot disease and ring disease can infect the fruit after removing the bag, resulting in a reddish brown spot of 1 mm to 2 mm on the fruit surface, reducing the rate of good fruit and affecting the price. The method of prevention and control is to spray the whole tree 5 days after removing the bag. The medicament should choose the powder or water agent that is therapeutic and does not stimulate the fruit surface, such as: 1000 times liquid of imported or domestic pure towel or 1000 times liquid of 80% carbendazim pure powder, etc.
