Last Updated: 2024/11/05, First, topdressing and watering. The temperature rose from late February to early March, and the plastic film garlic began to turn green. Due to the heat preservation and moisturizing effect of plastic film on soil, garlic mulched with plastic film can not be watered early in spring to prevent the soil temperature from decreasing when it is well watered before winter. If the soil is short of water in case of spring drought, water should be watered once in the first and middle of March. The film was opened in April, weeding, loosening soil, topdressing and watering, applying 15-20 kg urea or 30-40 kg ammonium bicarbonate and 10-15 kg potassium sulfate per mu, and irrigating once after fertilization. Proper control of watering in the later stage

First, topdressing and watering. Watering was properly controlled in the later stage, the surface soil of the field remained dry and wet, waterlogging was timely in rainy days, and irrigation was stopped 5-7 days before bolting and garlic harvest.

Second, disease prevention and pest control. The field humidity was higher in the middle and later stage of plastic film garlic growth, and garlic leaf blight and Botrytis cinerea began to occur when the daily average temperature was about 20 ℃ in late April. In the early stage of the disease, the garlic leaf tip appeared white dots or light brown long oval disease spots on the leaf surface. when the disease was serious, the leaf withered, the base rotted and the garlic plant lodged. When the rate of diseased plants reaches 15%, spray with 50% carbendazim 800x solution or 20% trimethoprim 2000-fold solution. If garlic plants are withered and wilted in the first ten days of April, and root maggots are found, 90% trichlorfon can be irrigated with 1000 times solution to kill the pest.

Third, harvest bolting. When the garlic bolting is about 10 cm above the apical leaf sheath, it should be carried out at about 2 o'clock in the afternoon on a sunny day. First break the bolting at the base of the garlic plant 5-10 cm from the ground by hand, and then bolting. Garlic was harvested 15-20 days after bolting.
