It was bred in 2000 by Huai 9712 (Yangdao 3 / 02428//IR26/// China 45 / Lianjing 1) by Huaiyin Agricultural Science Research Institute of Xuhuai region, Jiangsu Province. It is suitable for planting under the condition of middle and high fertility in Yangqiu area of Suzhong and Ningzhen. Yield level and characteristics. Participated in the regional test of Jiangsu Province from 2003 to 2004, the average yield per mu in two years was 586.0 kg, which was higher than that of Wuyujing 3.

Yield level and characteristics. In the regional trial of Jiangsu Province from 2003 to 2004, the average yield per mu in two years was 586.0 kg, which was 11.8% higher than that of Wuyujing 3, and reached a very significant level in both years. In 2005, the average yield per mu in the production test was 556.3 kg, 8.5% higher than that of the control. The effective panicle is about 200000 per mu, the number of filled grains per panicle is about 100, the seed setting rate is about 85%, and the 1000-grain weight is about 27 grams. The plant height is about 100 cm and the whole growth period is about 152 days, which is equal to that of the control.

The plant type is compact, the growth is prosperous, the panicle type is medium, the tillering ability is strong, the leaf color is dark, the population uniformity is good, the late mature color is good, the lodging resistance is strong, and it is difficult to drop grains. Physical and chemical index of rice quality: according to the food quality testing center of the Ministry of Agriculture from 2003 to 2005, the rate of head rice is 63.5%, the rate of chalky grain is 14.3%, the degree of chalkiness is 1.8%, the gel consistency is 73.0mm, and the content of amylose is 18.0%. The physical and chemical index of rice quality has reached the national standard of third-grade high-quality rice.
